I Stand Corrected, A New FMT/PD Study Originating In the USA!
It is just a small (12 participants) pilot trial, but it is definitely a step in the right direction. They used "FMT capsules" and that may not be the most effective method, but it seems much less invasive than colonoscopy delivery. https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fneur.2023.1104759/full

Constant skin rashes
As some may know I have been fighting constant skin rash since November, antibiotics help clear it up along with steroid cream but not quite get rid of it . Then a few weeks later I'm back on the same treatment. Attended AE last night due to it spreading on my body and down my arms skin inflammation

Been on Calquence for 4 months and have itching and hives
Been on Calquence for 4 months and have itching and hives. My counts are almost normal except for my platelets. I still have side effects of my ears ringing. I just broke out with rosacea on my face for the second time. I was wondering if this could be caused by a fungus. I think Calquence can cause

Serious itchy sores preventing sleep
I have read from others that large red very itchy spots can be a side effect of ibrutinib, which I've been taking for 3 years now. I had a previous session with the itchy spots and it just went away, but this one is brutal - sleep is all but impossible. I read from a fellow member of this site that

Rash on neck comes and goes away. Steroid cream and antihistamines not working. Been happening for 3 months
I have this itchy neck rash that mainly flairs up or comes back on the weekends. Tried steroid cream. It does know it down, but comes back again. On multiple antihistamines one in the morning and one at night and that doesn't seem to help. I take a daily multivitamin and fiber in the morning, but

Severe Rash associated with RA?
Has anyone ever had a severe rash which has been attributed to RA? I’m on day 7 of what the doctor initially thought was a drug allergy rash (due to an antibiotic antifungal mouth treatment) but it has continued to get worse. It’s flaming red, hot and itchy and is starting to peel. Currently covers 70%

First RH appointment tomorrow
I am absolutely beside myself at the moment. After being seriously unwell for 3 months, especially the last week or 2 being so unwell I wonder how cancer could feel worse... I have a positive ANA & DSDNA. I have booked privately to see a rheumatologist because I cannot wait on the NHS as my life has

Ectopics and steroid cream
I’m 6 weeks post Cardioversion of Atrial Flutter . I’m getting ectopics most of the day it started to happen the night I took my wife to dinner. Had a zero beer and 1 zero wine but I guess both full of sugar. So far had them for 3 days the doctor gave me ECG to confirm not AF. Only things doing differently

Phimosis: My journey through
I am in my late 40s and almost 2 years ago I first developed phimosis. It basically happened suddenly. The only thing I can think of that may have caused it is that it developed soon after a day when my wife got (very unusually) sexually frisky. I did not have any noticeable injury at the time, but skin

Cellulitis in foot and hands, leading to dramatic skin changes all over my body
I have primary lymphoedema in my left foot which has been well controlled through compression and daily creaming of the affected area. Despite showing no signs of any lesion I developed cellulitis which went un-diagnosed for a week or so as I was unaware of what it was. My foot and ankle were very swollen

Red marks on face
Does anyone use Elocon steroid cream, I used it on my red lupus marks a few years ago and they cleared up. I now have a couple of red marks on face, quite small, and have started using Elocon on them as they just won’t disappear. Some days they look really faded and other days look red again. I’m going

almost 200 days post SCT update
Spurred on by Jennie’s update earlier, I thought it was high time that I wrote an update on my progress. I’m almost at 200 days post transplant. I’ve hardly had any issues so far other than my Hb count has sat quite stubbornly at or around 80 for the past couple of months. This has resulted in a good

Itchy patches
Since jabbing myself with Pegasys interferon alfa2a for CALR +ET diagnosis, I've noticed the appearance of several small itchy patches on my abdomen and back. The ones on the abdomen are not on the site of the jab. My GP prescribed the application of a moderate steroid cream and one other non-steroid

Itchy knots under skin
I've been experiencing painful, itchy knots on my arms and legs that turn to blisters. Even worse when I scratch them. It's the same experience I have when I get mosquito bites, but I have not been exposed to any insects or allergens. Anyone else ever have this problem? My doctor just gave me a steroid
