Foods to boost iron levels
One of them, especially for women and especially for postpartum women can be due to low iron and a low level of
haemoglobin
. Fatigue results in the blood simply not being sufficiently oxygenated as
haemoglobin
is the protein that carries oxygen in our blood.

Drop in haemoglobin
I had a phone call from my Gp today to say my anaemia has deteriorated. My usual level is 106 and it’s dropped to 94 for no apparent reason. I have stage 4 kidney failure, no dialysis yet and Vasculitis. I take iron tablets and Aranesp injections to increase my Hb levels. I’m waiting for Addenbrookes

FEELING ANXIOUS...
Their saying that if
haemoglobin
dropped too much would need a blood transfusion & come off treatment altogether!! Not an option I want to think about!!

Here it is. Times piece today on CLL and access to drugs. Skip dumb comments....
Suddenly you learn a lot about platelets, lymphocytes, neutrophils and
haemoglobin
. You’re supposed to go away, live a normal life and wait. Slowly I got used to it, I normalised it.
