Why do I only ever write on here when I've reached rock bottom?
I've been referred to Weight Management with the NHS and had the first phone call from them yesterday - apparently, I will go into

therapy
with 8 other people like me and it'll be run by a clinical psychologist.

cost of Forteo, Tymlos, Evenity, Prolia in USA
after being on HRT for a year my numbers have worsened and I now have osteoporosis in spine and both hips in the -3 range. In addition I need a biopsy for breast lump. Ugh. So I’m faced with choosing a new osteoporosis drug. Besides the side effects they all seem to have, I’m considering the cost as

IVF medication following BFP for those with POF?
Hi everyone Hoping to find a consensus re: dates of stopping hormone treatment for those with premature ovarian failure going through IVF. Recently thrilled to get a BFP following D5 DE FET (still early days, only 4.5 weeks along). My clinic seem to adopt a 'one-size fits all' approach and stops progesterone

Induced coma
Hello, I was an induced coma for 6 weeks from early may, I'm out of hospital and home now. I'm finding my memory is terrible. I have no memory from about a month before my admission and now I keep forgetting little things and lots of them, like remembering to look at my diary where I have written appointments

EFT Tapping vs. Traditional Therapy: The Verdict's In!

Provenge criteria necessary for acceptance.
Apparently Medicare will pay for Provenge provided we are castrate resistant and metastatic. But are there other requirements like certain PSA parameters and lower testosterone levels? Do we have to remain on ADT while being treated with Provenge?

Radiation treatment for gynecomastia? Anyone?

Emotional lability and LT ADT
At certain times of extra stress, like awaiting a PSA test result, I have gotten into wrist-slap trouble by making awkward humor and remarks to Clinic staff. They get PO'ed and tattle to my MO. It's really not like me and the latest incident prompted me to look into ADT and emotional SE's. Bingo!

low back problems
I've been on Eligard and abiraterone+prednisone for slightly more than a year, out of a planned 2 years. I had 44 sessions of proton beam therapy ending 4/7/23. My PSA has been undetectable since early in my ADT regimen, and remained so as recently as 2 weeks ago. I began to have low back pain, sometimes

Poor converters
Can anyone give me some stats on the percentage of patients in the UK needing combined therapy T4/T3? That is, percentage of poor converters? Percentage of faulty genes Di01 and DI02? Am writing a follow-up article to the one published for Central Bylines https://centralbylines.co.uk/big-pharma-the-nhs-thyroid-disease-and-me

Diarrhea after 8th IMRT
Hello, We were told one of the side effects of radiation could be diarrhea. My husband has felt the effects after his last 2 treatments. I was reading that the use of strong probiotics like VSL #3 helped patients. Any thoughts on this issue? Did it go away after the first two weeks or did it get worse
