Pluvicto damaging salivary glands?
Finished 6 rounds of Pluvicto 9-1-23. Now on ADT holiday since 1-1-24, psa unmeasurable so far. During the treatment, had increasingly serious drymouth and nasal congestion and irritation with bleeding, which I attributed to radiation damage. Since then, there has been some, slow improvement, but still

Did you use Orgovyx with radiation, and did your Medicare Part D or Advantage plan cover it ?
I'm hoping to learn what roadblocks anyone encountered in asking to use Orgovyx instead of Lupron, etc as part of radiation treatment. Resistance from prescribing ROs? Problems with Part D drug coverage ? Advantage plans...Kaiser , etc............that would and wouldn't cover at least some of the $2700

coming off rotigotine patches
Hello, First post… Could someone please share their experience coming off rotigotine patches, and what helped you throughout this experience? Been on rotigotine for 4 or so years, and more recently started experiencing augmentation. Was on 2mg, in August GP suggested increasing to 3mg but that hardly

Thyroid UK list of practitioner recommendations please
I've just requested the above list and tbh, I don't know where to start. There's a consultant on there who I've already visited during this 'journey' who basically told me to go away and work on establishing a full dose HRT regime, referred me to a CFS clinic which never transpired and waved away low

Where Are My People?
I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder over 5 years ago. It started with speech therapy but didn’t seem to help. I’ve been medicated since then but it doesn’t feel like it’s doing its job anymore. The last couple years have been a rollercoaster with changing meds multiple times, worsening depression

Thyroid question please...
Hi everyone, I am writing to ask if you can have a sore thyroid without significant enlargement and with 'normal' bloods? I have had 'normal' bloods, it doesn't seem visually enlarged, though I feel like I am being strangled and have audible sounds when I swallow in my ears. When I move my head something

hi! I was diagnosed with endo in 2019, avoided any hormonal treatment until last year due to past experiences of the pill. March last yr I went for a private fertility check and they said my endo looked worse and was now also adenomyosis. Suggestion was a mirena coil to stop periods. I went for

still here
Hi All I like to try and update my journey so you can see that there are some longer term survivors. I am still on 0 PSA with advanced cancer. My journey is on my bio. I was diagnosed at 47 and now I’m 54 with no progression. My primary treatment was Zytiga and it is still working. I take a concoction

Starting clinical trial of AVR-766
Today I start a clinical trial for ARV-766, an AR degrader. I'm coming in at phase 2, and they are only accepting men who have one of 4 point mutations in the AR - I have two. I've been randomized to 300 mg pill, once a day. The other dose is 100mg. I've failed ADT, chemo. Keytruda & Pluvicto. Hoping

Sporadically fall backwards with no warning
3 weeks into new dose of 100 levothyroxine (on waking) + 2 doses of 7.5 t3 (one on waking and one at 3pm - [built up gradually]). Constantly bleeding / zoladex
I'm coming to to my 3rd shot of zoladex next week but for the last 5 weeks I've had 3 periods and all have been a week long. I had 5 days respite between 2 and my current period. I'm currently on day 7 and is not letting up, so don't know how much longer this 3rd will go on for. They aren't light,

Rising PCA - on ADT Holiday
Diagnosed Stage 4 oligometastatic (low volume) PCA in 2021. Gleason 7, 4+3 . Completed RT and 18 months on ADT (Nubeqa) paused the ADT in September after PSA non detectable and a fresh set of scans showed no “evidence of disease”. Continued to do bloodwork quarterly and PSA remained at 0. Until
