CYSTITIS CYSTICA HELP
Cystitis Cystica (painful bladder cysts) inflammation, foul smelling urine, frequent trips to the toilet! Amongst many other things I've had this for many years. I would like to know what herbs or natural remedies anyone has had that has relieved or even better cured? Conventional medicine of 6 months

If it is not asthma, could there be something wrong with my lungs? 🤔🤔
Hi. What is your opinion on this? Do you think I have Asthma or something else (perhaps a lung problem)? 🙂 I'm 19 years old and have been significantly out of breath always, from the age of 6/7. It was not until I was about 15, that I was officially diagnosed with asthma by the gp after I had an asthma

Things that slow me down
As I enter month#2 of my plan I must come to grips with the realization that there will be some slow downs and some set backs. I wanted to get in a nice bike ride last night and a late cold front blew in. It was cold and very windy and my stationary bike is out on my porch so no ride for me and the cold

Endo, interstitial cystitis and IBS - anyone else?
Hello! I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis back in 2017 after a laparoscopy and in October I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis after another operation. I also have suspected PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). Yesterday, after years of symptoms and a few weeks of tests, I have been diagnosed

Hi I’m on day 3 of taking progynova. I’ve been getting pains lower left groin. Is this a side effect or is it an infection?

Can anyone put my mind at rest
Admitted to ICU beginning November (I can't remember) finally diagnosed with meningococcal pneumonia, cavitating pneumonia (I was fit & never smoked) so took a while to find. One full lung not working 75% of other lung not working, contracted sepsis twice. Just about to go on ward when I deteriorated

Flushing after eating
I’m wondering if anyone can help or share some of their wisdom. I’m currently diagnosed with autoimmune thyroid disorder, I take 175 of levothyroxine daily. Of late I have been getting random flushing approx 20-30 minutes after eating . I would feel shaky, very cold and need to lie down. Sometimes

Is Parkinson's disease a lifestyle disease? 1. Parkinsonian lifestyle (higher risk).
(Excerpt from the book I am writing now. I hope you find it useful). Is Parkinson's disease a lifestyle disease? 1. Parkinsonian style (increased risk of developing the disease) I have less and less doubts about the existence of a "Parkinsonian" way of life, which predisposes and increases the risk

Anyone tried Thorne or Seeking Health Adrenal Cortex Extracts
I had an online consult with a thyroid doctor a couple of days ago. He advised me to take adrenal cortex extract and recommended I take either Thorne ACE or Seeking Health ACE. I have never used anything like this before and am a bit nervous about it. I am wondering if anyone has tried these and can

Cold water swimming
I started sea swimming early morning in September last year and continued going after being diagnosed with PMR. On the days I don't go I find my aching and stiffness recur - has anyone else found cold water swimming helpful? It is supposed to have anti-inflammatory effects and may even stave off dementia

Thyroid Meds Advice
Recently changed from NDT back to T4 due to not being able to tolerate the T3 aspect of NDT. Due to intolerance testing stating gluten and lactose intolerant (which I kind of knew anyway) received Teva Levothyroxine. Had previously been taking Actavis before the NDT which gave me joint pain, so thought

Irritation making me cough
Despite cxr, ecgs, bloods etc which are all clear i am still coughing but not spontaneous cough but seems to come from below sternum. I have a sense of irritation there. Also feels hard to get a good breath. I am a lifelong asthmatic but this is not the same. Anyone else get the need to cough so

Cold water swimming and Raynaud's symptoms.
Cold Water swimming and Raynauds symptoms - ? I am new here and wondering if it could be detrimental to go cold water swimming when it triggers Raynaud's symptoms? Lots of swimmers get mild symptoms and manage them with protective measures - wondering if anyone else here has experience of cold water

Antibiotics and levothyroxine
I’ve developed an extremely painful Cystitis and ended up at walk in centre it got so bad. I now have antibiotics to take 2xday and I wondered if I can take them at the same time as my levothyroxine. There was no way I could avoid antibiotics & it came on so over just a few hours. Never had it before
