Daily Telegraph article re Gluten Free Diets
Did anyone else see this? I can only post half the article....can't work, out how to forward the whole thing...but if you Google telegraph.co.uk you will be able to find it. It's in 4 May issue. I often wondered why people who had eaten normal food with no digestive problems suddenly decide to go Gluten

Holistic endocrinologist london
Hi there, I've recently found out I have hashimotos and am looking for an open minded endocrinologist in London. I'd like to discuss armour ideally and I've also tried a gluten free diet for the last month that's made a huge difference. So looking at other lifestyle/dietary changes would be of interest

Awaiting diagnosis!
I'm 25, a mum, & have otherwise been fit and well. I'd say for the last year or two, I've been suffering. My symptoms are not continuous, they are very much sporadic, & all my problems have started to occur since I put myself on a gluten free diet, immediately cutting it out, and then beginning to eat

unsure with a loooong process
ever since I got pregnant with my baby my body started to react to food in unusual ways at first we thought just to be morning sickness so I went along with this. After having her it has been on-going they thought now it was acid reflux/heartburn. they've done blood, urine and stool tests all are clear

Advice please
I have an adult son with IBS, waiting on blood tests coming back. Over the past week nothing seems to help, probiotics, oil of peppermint capsules, audmonal and buscopan. He was told to try a gluten free diet and avoid dairy products. Since then he has had a headache since last week, he's been taking

IBS, coeliac, hyper-mobile, rectal prolapse, no kids (yet!) help?
Hi, I'm new to HealthUnlocked. I don't know if this is the right network to be posting in but I hope I can find others who have experienced a similar thing to me. I have anxiety-related IBS and also coeliac disease, diagnosed spring 2015. Since my coeliac diagnosis the gluten-free diet has really helped

Please help with latest BH test results after trying mixed T3/T4 therapy
I am looking for help with understanding my results and advice as to what to do next. My inability to concentrate is preventing me from thinking the problem through! My potted history is: I was diagnosed hypothyroid 11 years ago and have been on T4 since. I have always taken a slightly higher dose

Nausea
I've been feeling very nauseous for about a week; was sick once and have had excessive bloating and stomach pain. In the past couple of days it has improved slightly and the nausea seems to ease after eating. I have been eating a gluten free diet for about 3 days and the bloating has improved somewhat

Gluten withdrawal, feel awful! Is this normal?
Hello, I'm a week into gluten free diet. I'm trialling this on the advice of a nutrionalist, naturopath and many of you. Although I have never had any digestive issues, I do have thyroid antibodies. I've been trying to have another baby for quite a while now too and so thought it was worth a try to reduce

Feel let down by GP
I'm on 200mg of Leveothyroxine per day. I was on 225 previously but the Endocrinologist dropped my dose in in February. I still don't feel any better I'm getting a lot of anxiety that makes me that frightened. Also my head feels like it's swaying and dizzy. I'm unsure if there is any perrimenopause mixed

A great big huge thank you
I found this site in October when I was having a particularly bad time. From here I have learned so much about managing my hypothyroidism, discovered I suffered from Hashimotos and have been well armed to have discussions with doctors. The recommendation to switch to a gluten free diet has changed
