No endo
I've had all the pills, the coil,
GnRH
analogues leading up to the surgery, the injection and many others but I've been severely ill on all except the
GnRH
. I hope anyone else who has had this news knows you're not alone!

Prolonged period following hysteroscopy
I have endo, so the clinic want me downreg on
GnRH
(Prostap) for 2-3months. I had my first Prostap on 16th Nov (2days after lap) but it was on cycle day 21 of my menstrual cycle. I wouldn’t have expected the Prostap to shut my ovaries down that quickly so I completely expected to have a bleed.

FDA has approved Relugolix (Orgovyx) for advanced PCa.
"The approval of the
GnRH
receptor antagonist is based on data from the phase 3 HERO study, which showed that 96.7% of patients randomized to relugolix maintained castration through 48 weeks, compared with 88.8% of patients receiving leuprolide (P <.001).1 The benefit with relugolix was sustained across

Vagifem - Estradiol
I’m now not perusing any
GNRH
treatment because of my low bones density (age 27..) but I started Cerazette and my consultant put me on Vagifem also. It’s all a little bit confusing and this pandemic makes everything slower, which is definitely getting the best of me...

Bad gyn experience
Also - (sorry for the long long post) has anyone been on
GnRH
analogues for longer than 6months, (I am now on 8) and if so were you told that you could not have endo as it stops all cramping and therefore the cramps are all in your head?? I am feeling slightly defeated.

Endo flare - Day 6...
I was under
GNRH
for the past 4 years... and this year I have been referred to a specialist in the U.K. He decided that I needed to change my hormonotherapy (4y was too long). And I’m waiting for my surgery date.... (could take longer than 6 months to have a date according to the secretaries...)

Restart GNRH injections
Hi, So I have recently had a flare up and have been told today that whilst I'm waiting for my operation I am to restart the
GNRH

IVF drugs Synarel and Decapepty caused menopause -has this happened to you?
Attached is drug information about another
GnRH
drug called Zoladex and it clearly states menopause is a risk for some women although rare but I wasn’t told it was a risk and if doctors aren’t reporting it such as in my case then how do they know how many it has happened to.

A study of patient's choice of ADT: bicalutamide, a gonadotrophin-releasing hormone analogue or orchidectomy
As the title conveys, All three are a different form of ADT... merely because a person has circulating testosterone in their blood when taking bicalutamide doesn't mean bicalutamide is not a form of ADT or that they are able to use the testosterone even though they have it. My understanding is -

The pill and HRT after operation
I've been on
Gnrh
prostape analogue injections for 12 months which have worked well despite a shaky start and so e side effects to HRT. I've had conflicting advice for my next stage of treatment in the hope I will go into a more natural menapause.

GnRH Analogues and the emergency pill
Hi, I have been put on
GnRH
analogues as treatment, I had sex and the condom broke however, he did not finish at that point. I was wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and if you used emergency contraception?

Cost comparison between Lupron and Oestrogel
Since E2 is aromatized from T,
GnRH
agonists pretty much wipe out any E2 which we all agree is necessary to maintain bone density. The majority of us that are using tE2 are experiencing Only gynecomastia as a side effect.

How many of you are using tE2 as your only form of ADT?
Despite the ~30% increase in CV events, DES was quite effective in keeping men with APC around for many years without the all too common nasty side effects of modern
GnRH
drugs.

(off topic) Firmagon useful for treating pedophilia
They found that it had rapid onset of action (it is a direct
GnRH
antagonist). However, its effect on self-reported risk was far from complete, and we don't know if it will actually change behavior.
