So I have recently had a flare up and have been told today that whilst I'm waiting for my operation I am to restart the GNRH injections.
Has anyone done this and had any problems? I feel like they made me so much worse when I had them the first time round (although I had them for too long 1 year).
Any advice would be helpful xx

I think they do this so it reduces the endo for op. I wondered yesterday if he was going to suggest carrying on, but he didn’t. I hadn’t felt any pain relief. Personally I’d have refused as I want him to remove every scrap he can
I really want to say I don't want it as I found no benefit whatsoever! I'll see what the consultant says when I go. Also do you suffer with migraines when having a flare up?
Tell them it doesn't agree with you, they can't force you to have anything. I only tried it as desperate.
I used to wake up with really bad headaches, got worse around the same time as this kicked in. I didn't make an association then and had a home test for sleep apnoea which showed I had that. Since starting CPAP theyve stopped. I have read that there could be a hormonal link.
If you don't want it. You can say no. They can't withhold other treatments (surgery) because you say no to this. You have to consent so if you don't they can't make you.
