What are your asthma flares like?
Question for the community: what are your severe asthma flares like? I’m in the middle of one and really struggling. The way mine manifest is: 1) I encounter a mild allergen such as dust or pet hair on someone’s clothes 2) I get allergic then the asthma kicks in and it becomes progressively hard to take

Xolair vs. Nucala (Omalizumab vs. Mepolizumab)
Hi there! I'm new here. I have severe allergic asthma. I take Symbicort, Spiriva, Zyrtec, and Flonase daily. I just started Xolair (Omalizumab) but I'm already worried it might not be a good fit. I feel exhausted, have had insomnia for days (I hadn't realized histamines play such an important role in

Nose spray causing bleeding
I have been using flonase for about 5 months. Has anyone experienced blood in their nose while using this? Not a nose bleed, but when I clean my nose one side has been showing blood.

Difficulty Swallowing and Frothy Spit After Eating
I am an 19 year old male. In the past year I have been having problems with my swallowing. After eating or mid way through a meal, my throat feels full and I have constant frothy, bubbly saliva that I keep having to spit out. I went to the GI twice. The first one was in September of 2018. He did an upper

For the past two months I have been having issues with sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and a productive cough. Never in my life have I ever experienced something so persistent. Went to allergist and had PFT and it was in the 70’s % . Doctor gave me a sample of symbicort to use twice a day. I am also using

Hives, Alpha-Gal, Dry Eyes
Hi. I’m new here. Looking for help with chronic hives. I had a complete hysterectomy in August, after which I developed the hives. I have been diagnosed with Alpha-Gal, which is a beef and pork nitolerance. It is possibly from a Lone Star Tick bite. I dont’ remember the tick, but 80% of the time that

Constant Nasal Congestion
40 days on imbruvica, labs better but continued issues with upper respiratory congestion. Drainage always clear but constant. I was suggested to try flonase and it worked great for 6 days only. Any other advice would be great! Thanks.

Talk Therapy
When you have anxiety, it can keep you in your head with thoughts that you dwell on over and over. This is my experience and one thing that helps me is to talk about how i am feeling, thoughts i am thinking and worries that rumunate. I worry a lot about physical symptoms and i know this sounds ridiculous

Constant head pressure.
Honestly, I don't even know where to begin. I suppose I'll start with the fact I've had chronic headaches/migraines and anxiety for well over 10 years. I've been through multiple doctors, hospital visits, had just about every test imaginable ran on me, been through therapy, taken multitudes of medicines

Can’t sleep because of congestion
What can I do about congestion? I Neto pot, use Flonase, sometime an antihistamine spray, homeopathics - nothing helps. I’m ok during the day when I’m vertical. At night, I wake 3-4-5 times totally parched from mouth breathing. I’m so tired!!!!!!

Albuterol and other drugs, all I want to do is save lives or a least make them better!
Have you ever been to the doctor and had a breathing test and pass it with flying colors but the doctor still wanted to give you Albuterol and take the test again, why? The doctors tried that on my husband and I but I told him I'm not taking that S**t and when he tried to do the same thing to my husband

Post Ivor Lewis Mucus
Hi, I’m really hoping someone can help me find a solution to the excessive mucus that causes coughing and then retching it up every time my husband moves around. He’s 5 weeks post Ivor Lewis...which followed 28 radiation treatments & 7 carbon platin infusions. Surgeon says everything looks great on chest

How do I disentangle symptoms that could be sinus, tmj, or early signs of GCA coming to join my PMR?
I have been having sinus ( pressure in my temple and. Geeks, and nose as well as stuffed ears, mostly left sided) or TMJ some feeling of dislocation on the left side of my jaw and slight locking during dinner) symptoms of late. They get worse over the course of the day. In the morning I’m usually fine
