Local cardiology department don’t want to investigate low level angina at rest
Long story short coming up for 2year post angioplasty anniversary (jan). I get bouts of what I suspect is angina during the day and at night which is mostly lhs chest into armpit location fairly low level but can distract me from sleep. I don’t often use Gtn except when heavy and some relief may be gained

Is GTN spray safe to use for people with Atrial Fibrillation?
My father suffers with AF and although I consider him fit for an 81 year old, more recently he has experienced increased periods of breathlessness (even when doing very little) and occassional chest spasms. We know other people who use GTN as a result of a heartattack or angina but my question is, does

GTN Spray
Hi, as you may have gathered from some previous posts I am trying to find out the answer to the strange gas sensations I continually have in my chest? Can I say that I do burp a lot “very lady like though” which again convinced me it is gas. Today it was particularly bad for about an hour right in the

Help me spend £30
I'm rubbish at spending money. There are things I want to get, but I spend so long umming and arrrring about it that I end up persuading myself I don't actually need it, so don't bother. The bank manager loves this, but my desire for stuff really suffers. Anyway, mother-in-law got me £30 Amazon Vouchers

Really constipated
I have lately been going 4-5 days without a BM. Today is day 5. My wife wanted to go to the beach, so I took her. Around 1pm I told her I needed to get back to our unit to take care of business. She knows it's day 5. I tried to dissuade her, but she insisted on coming back. I took a TBSP of castor oil

New Year, Less Flab
Well, it's that time of year when we'll all be making New Year resolutions (and then promptly forgetting about them :) ). There's been an upsurge in posts concerning low-carb (LCHF) recently, so if you're thinking of giving this a go after your holiday indulgences, herewith a short FAQ ... and a bit

Is this just bad constipation?
Hi Guys, I need your advice here. Male 53, good diet, non smoker, walk daily with dogs, on feet at work, been on Lansoprazole for 8 years struggling with full rectum high up. I go for BM every morning without fail and seem to do plenty then may do more an hour later but much softer. By early afternoon

Therapies Targeted to Androgen Receptor SignalingAxis in Prostate Cancer: Progress, Challenges, and Hope - published December 2019
I was doing some research on ARL702H, which the Guardiant360 revealed for my husband. I think ARL702H is brought on from being on Zytiga + prednisone. - and this may be why switching from predisone to dexamethasone can help the Zytiga to continue working: Role of Androgen Receptor in Prostate Cancer

Anyone have Cardiac Sarcoidosis?
I have a pacemaker, two ablations and 5 or six cardioversions under my belt. I also have a lot of undiagnosed symptoms that, according to my research, are explained by Cardiac Sarcoidosis that I am able to control myself with Prednisone, Nitroglycerin and Lyrica.

Should Chest Pains Be Expected After Angiograms
My question relates to whether I should be concerned about very mild chest pains after having several angiograms with stents inserted. The pains are nothing like as extreme as when I had a heart attack (probably a 1 out of 10) but you just know they shouldn’t be there. Following a bout which lasted about

Constant dull ache on left side of chest... will glycerin spray help?
Hi All, First time post here. I had bypass surgery (x5) a few years back and have had regular pain in my chest since. The doctor at the time said that it was probably caused by smaller blocked arteries that hadn’t been bypassed. Does the spray work for these dull pains? I’ve been reluctant to use it

Gotta love a freebie
Got talking to a guy at work today who had noticed that I've been doing a lot of running lately. He's an ultra-runner! Anyway, we got talking shoes and I mentioned I needed a new pair but was a bit lost as to what to get. He recommended a shop not far from me then asked what size I was. "I'm a 10 normally

Good afternoon
Well here’s my update on Ranexa Ranolazine, I started the pill on 375mg for 2 weeks which helped but towards the end of that time the Angina started creeping back again. I did get an upset stomach a couple of days after I started it but it only lasted 24hrs so not sure if it was connected. I’ve been

Does GTN cause worse angina pain?
I have had heart disease for 20 years. I have 2 stents. I have had numerous angiograms during that time. 2 years ago my angina symptoms returned worse than ever. I have seen a couple of cardiologists and am waiting a heart MRI to confirm suspected microvascular angina and or cardiac spasms. My question

Fatigue following angina attack
Hi... Whenever I have an angina attack and have to use my GTN spray, I get an overwhelming sense of tiredness that makes me fall asleep. Following this, I then feel totally exhausted and burnt out which can last up to a few days. Does anyone else ever feel like this? X

Wardija Wardija - Update Clear as Mud !
So, went to meet my Cardiologist yesterday in relation to my lack of response to both my isosorbide medication and my GTN spray for my stable Angina. Consultant said it was very odd, especially that I was using the spray and getting no relief at all. So Cardiologist said that there must be something
