Consultant changes his mind again!
Well had another appointment with the Lung specialist again. Started with the usual weigh-in BP and Finger O2 it lit up at 95% so she writes it down but then it started to drop down to 92%. Then says It is my first day on here! So I said "It is usual to let the O2 monitor settle down for a few seconds

Angina after a Bypass?
Hi, I had a quadruple bypass back in October 2014, after the op I was really ill and had SVT which required 3 electric shocks. Anyhow to cut to the chase. I was on Amiordarone 200mg for a fast heartbeat, this was stopped in December 2014, a few weeks after this I started getting the odd chest pain,

Neupro patch a learning experience
I'm on the Neupro 2mg patch after a ridiculously difficult cold turkey weaning from Mirapex (1.5mg nightly). I'm finding that there are a few things the directions don't mention but that seem to make a difference in how well it works. 1. Cleaning the area - if I use one of those face soaps that contain

A Homemade Pain Remedy.
This may or may not be of interest to some members ? There is a posting on 'Pain Concern' (on HealthUnlocked) about a Chemistry Graduate's homemade pain relief remedy which apparently works on many different types of pain, the concoction was made up of Magnesium Chloride, 100% vodka and Glycerin

I'm desperate for help!
Ive had systemic scleroderma, RA and Raynauds etc. for 14 years. One of my fingers has been numb and purple from the knuckle to the tip of my finger for 5 days! I'm in severe pain like a rubber band has been on my finger for 5 days. It's getting harder for me to move my finger and it's always cold literally

W1R1 completed - almost!
I managed it all except for 10-15 seconds at the end of the 7th minute run. A little disappointed, but I only slept for 3.5 hours last night, which probably didn't help. It was quite the struggle, and I even made my husband run with me carrying nitroglycerine spray & an aspirin in case I had a heart

Every since generic levo I have been struggling. Can anyone help me!
Since starting gnereic levo four months ago, I have had a tremendous amount of reactions. I did not think nothing of it the first two months because I thought it was part of the process. Anyway within a half hour of taking it I would feel like my head was in a cloud, disoriented, spaced out, and tiered

I have been asked to share my story. Make yourself comfy and I will begin .......
In 1988 I went to my G.P. with joint pains which fluctuated around my body. When I booked the appointment I had pain in my neck and shoulders, by the time I saw him it was in my knees and wrists! The pain was put down to my being pregnant (with my second child), hormones etc. - advice, take pain killers
