Help boosting thyroid without medication?
Hello all I have posted before as my thyroid function is poor but always comes back in range (my TSH never rises even with low levels) so no chance of medication on the NHS (other than statins for high cholesterol which I refuse). I did some recent tests TSH 1.95 (0.27-4.2) T4 14.6 (12-22) T3

Blood results within range. Is this a problem?
Hi all,
I posted this query a few days ago and it was kindly analysed for me by greygoose (comments further down). However, I didn't understand what he/she was telling me - so I wonder if anyone could explain for me? Do the results indicate hypothyroidism? Do I need meds or can I tweak via

Is it worth doingan econsult Monday?
The story... Back on March my GP tested my tsh (as part of cfs testing) and it was 1.88. Start of April I caught a virus and then the week after onwards my symptoms gradually were increasing and I missed a few days of work. April 19 (I think it was) I got my tsh, t3 and t4 done via Medichecks.

Is anyone in the group interested in genetic research about NASH?
We are working with Sano Genetics to encourage more research into the genetics that predispose someone to liver disease. As part of that they are convening a focus group to gather patient perspectives. We want to encourage the adoption of genetic testing as part of normal patient care. If you have

thoughts on elderly mum thyroid
I’ve suggested she should do the finger prick
glucose
test
when she has this symptom to check but won’t if doc doesn’t suggest it. Could an underactive thyroid (tsh slightly off) really cause this severe crash for 3-4 hrs in evening but ok rest of the time? Thanks for your thoughts

I am still struggling terribly to tolerate any doseage of levo or lio - combo or mono. It makes me feel even worse/is completely debilitating. I have tried changing when I take the doses, the brand etc you name it and still no better. It’s notable that my blood pressure gets too low on it too. Am I

Ventricular Standstills
Hi I had a 24hr Holter test in December and found results on my NHS app. This showed 5 pauses from over 3 to 7.13 seconds and a second degree heart block type ll mainly 2:1 conduction. I have had twinges in my left chest and palpations for months. Put on delophine XL and twinges stopped after 3 weeks

my tsh is at its highest, what can I do?
hello my tsh is now at its highest 5.19 and keeps increasing. I wanted to know if thyroid cancer causes this and if there’s anything you can do to help bring it down without medication? my t4/t3 12.5/4 are on the low side, but my thyroid antibodies TPO have at least come down to 36.7. I have hashimotos

Just had blood tests and results for B12 are 201 (110-900) and ferritin 59 (30-337). Am I right in thinking these should be higher?
