hi folks I have noise induced tinnitus and hyperacusis been living with it about 5 years. my question is apart from paracetamol which pain killer can I use without risking exacerbating tinnitus? I have an old injury that flares up now and again. I used to control it with ibuprofen but I understand

Anyone with ET tried ginseng, ginko bilboa, or pomegranates to lower PC?
My son (19y/o) has ET, is JAK2+, and is home from college for the summer. He is currently on a daily aspirin, but I am concerned about his PC continuing to increase over the last month (from 1200 ish to 1400ish). His MPN specialist in NYC is awesome and has said that PC can be finicky. Perhaps finals

Tumeric/circumin
Good morning to you all. I wonder if anyone can help with my query. I saw professor Harrison two weeks ago and among things discussed was joint and bone pain. I'm on hydroxy with one 75mg aspirin per day. She mentioned tumeric/circumin that some people find it very helpful and I asked if it was OK

Morning all I am determined to come off the dreaded pred. and now down to 1mg, hurrah! Although I hurt sometimes, it is not as it was and I can live with it. Are there any tips for alternatives for inflammation? Someone said CBD oil so I bought some Cannery and not sure if it does anything, possibly

I've suffered on and on with indigestion my whole life. Around early 2020, I ended up on Lansoprazol 20mg per day. In March

Curcumin and Green Tea supplements are liver toxic
I know that some patients take these supplements in spite of clinical data showing no effect for prostate cancer. I updated the article on curcumin with health warnings on hepatotoxicity. PLEASE, if you are taking either or both as supplements, at least tell your oncologist, and get liver enzyme tests

Yesterday, I went to pick up some owing levothyroxine - three packs of 25 and one pack of 100. The pharmacy has been helpful since I moved to them some time ago. Hi, this is my first starter post although I have replied to a few questions from others. After being run over by a car 40 years ago and suffering multiple skeletal fractures I have undergone 14 operations so far. Around 2019 I was further diagnosed with Fybromyagia. I just found out the cause of my autoimmune chronic pancreatitis and it’s not good. I have Sjögren’s syndrome.
it’s effecting my other organs too. I have osteoporosis, not from prednisone but from lack of nutrients from the pancreatitis. I need to go on a steroid to help stop my body from effecting multiple lungs, kidney’s, liver and pancreas. I have 4 cysts on my pancreas too. I had lymphoma from Sjogren’s

Extreme fatigue. Any solution?
This is wiping me out. Honestly. It tends to start at about 5 pm and lasts for about 2/3 hours. I used to take Whey protein to counter it but this appears to not hit the spot. I’m utterly exhausted when this phenomenon strikes and am wondering if anyone has any ideas? I take B1 daily (Superior Source

helvella - Thyroid Blog
You might or might not know that I have been accumulating information about thyroid issues in my blog - I have created a significant number of pages now. Many will be aware of some of the specific pages which I link to quite regularly. But you might not have realised what else is there. Below is a copy

how soon after stopping prog/estro did you get period?
Found out today that our first fet failed. I already took my progesterone shot and morning estrace today but will not take it tomorrow. Wondering, if you've had a fet that didn't work, when did you get your period after stopping progesterone and estrogen?

anyone used myovvii device ?
hello everyone, curious to find out if any of you have used the myovvii device that is promoted on instagram for period pain and endo pains? Apparently it sends signals to your brain to change where the pain is being detected. A little bit like acupuncture which I have also read about. I’m currently

Hi All I have been clear from hormone related breast cancer for 3 years now. I am 62 & post menapausal . I changed medication from anastrozole to tamoxifen last month to try to help slow my osteopenia, as I do not get on with bisphosphonates. Unfortunately it appears to have aggravated my hiatus
