4 weeks post triple CABG
Hello everyone. Today I am 4 weeks post op. In some ways it feels like a lifetime ago and others just yesterday. Given everything my body has been through I cannot believe how well I feel and actually, at the risk of being too modest, how well I look. My BMI is 25 (something it hasn't been previously

CABG and sudden pain
Hi All I'm 3 weeks post op and so far everything seems to be going well. However, today when I woke up I started to get some odd pain on the outer edge of my left armpit. Its highly transient, lasts barely a second each time but makes me wince a bit. Heart rate, BP, oxygenation levels all ok, no dizziness

Post CABG Exercise
Hello all. I'm now 19 days post triple bypass, and, touch wood, all is going well. Since walking is the only exercise I can sensibly do at this stage, I'm out most days (fortunately the weather is good at the moment so its a real pleasure to be out and about). My question is 'how much exercise should

CABG and Temperature Control
Hi all. I had my triple bypass 10 days ago. Recovery is going well but I do have occasional instances of feeling very cold (which I put down to the beta blockers) and more frequently, instances of being very hot to the point where I go into melt down (sweating through my hair). I'm not stressed by

Popped to GP, result as expected.
I had a mixed weekend, I managed to get out both days to do things which was great BUT both days I suffered a lot of thumps/jolts/skips which restricted my mobility doing those things quite a bit. I've had this now 13 weeks to varying degrees but recently it's worsened again which is frustrating. I saw

Advice for mum please
Hi, my name is Marie and I would really appreciate some advice please. My mum is waiting for a double heart bypass and is on angina spray and tablets. This week she has had to use her spray quite often, 3 out of 5 days. I was wondering if anyone would know if it would be safe for mum to increase her
