Chest X-ray
Hi everyone, I hope today is a good day for you. I've been a member here for about four years as I was caring for my mum who had copd. I gave up smoking when she died, but I've been getting more breathless and wheezy recently. I had a spirometery which shows I'm not asthmatic but I do have "some obstruction

Thank you everyone who made such detailed, compassionate, helpful and kind remarks about bowel issues. This community's caring has been so encouraging to me, knowing I am not alone in this disease. Is it Okay to allow someone in my family to read these posts to help them understand their Mother? I am

An Interesting Week
I don't want to do another week like this ever again if possible. It started off Sunday with my brother in the ICU again. When I left there Sunday night I was certain we would be planning a funeral on Monday. But thanks to powers way above my pay grade he rallied and came home today. Worst residual effect

No more worry..
Hi everyone hope your all ok and getting on ok. After nearly four months of worrying myself sick that I had COPD or something like it, it turns out I had a really bad chest infection. It started clearing up about 6 weeks ago after my third or forth lot of antibiotics. I went for a CT scan about a week

Costochrondritis for over a year!
Hello my name is Kenny and I am 39 years. My story started around February to March of last year 2016. I started spitting out speck of blood. I immediately quit cigarettes because I was so worried. I then received a chest x Ray and it was normal except doctor said I have mild apical pleural thickening

What a laugh! Any one else been badly treated?
So after some 20 years of jumping through the NHS hoops to get a diagnosis and being badly let down, then going private to find that I did have limes disease and anaemia that the doctors didn't pick up from my tests. CD 57 range is 130 to 300 my results were -11! That's another story!! Last September
