In 2016 I was taken off Epilim, I have JME epilepsy, I was on it for circa. eight years, with lamictal, but my hands shook so bad, fears it was Parkinson's disease, [my father had Parkinson's disease] I was 'tested' then subsequently again in 2021 both negative, I was put on Fycompa in 2016, the shaking

Fycompa, had two suicide attempts, out of that time, two thirds in bed, about two and a half weeks asleep, did not recover from irregular sleep patterns for 2 1/2 years! Weakened joints! Anybody else similar effects with Fycompa! [Even writing this name down, cold chills up my spine😱]

I have epilepsy and was on Fycompa medication, the side effects of that lasted 30 months, does the effects of the Decapeptyl wear off, if it does approximately how long? Maybe🤞 if I get through the treatment something to look forward to some sort of sanity?

In 2017 I had an enlightening period, I was on an Epileptic drug [Fycompa], I attempted suicide, I saw a white light, felt an immense calm, when I had swallowed a number of pills, I awoke and puked up the medications, but then realised my beliefs were ok👍 for me I was going up the right path inwardly

I have JME epilepsy, it feels like the side effects of one of the medications Fycompa, which I stopped five years ago! Affects the body joints, want to go to sleep, but wake up more tired than when I retired to sleep, no incentive to talk to anybody? 😴😴DEAD TIRED!

I’m being weaned of parampenal (fycompa) as had very bad side effects with my mood and exhausted whole time. I’m hoping this one is going to help , with fycompa my side effects were really bad but seizures were still happening too on a regular basis.

I was on Fycompa and Lamictal in January 2017 I was thinking of starting up drawing classes? I had a double seizure in January 2018 fractured skull while transferring one medication to my present [April 2018]. Is there any way of 'calming' my system down?

Does anyone know if this medicine causes augmentation?

I was on Fycompa and Lamictal for F.M.Epilepsy, I was taken off both in pretty quick successession, in the end of 2018, beginning of 2019, a bumpy ride, but my specialist was more worried about the Briviact, being that it was a newer product in the field, BUT what are the side effects of Vimpat?

He is now wanting to include fycompa into the mixture. I have also tried a keto diet and cbd oil as well. Is there anyone else on warfarin and AED's that have managed to get control over their seizures?

My son was on Keppra, vimpat and Onfi and still having seizures and they recently took him off of keppra and onto Fycompa and he had more seizures that before and now we are going to start Briviact. Does anyone have any experience they would like to share? All is appreciated.

Hello, I have read a lot of negative side effects and terrifying reviews about Fycompa and just wondered if anyone would recommend this medication. My son is 24, high functioning autism with uncontrolled seizures for about 12 years.

I have had JME for nearly fifty years, but I was on Keppra, then Epilim, then Fycompa, all with Lamictal from circa 2012 that caused the question?

ps I have just recovered from a dose of pancreatitis, from the long drawn out change of medication, between changing from Fycompa and Vimpat and Briviact, which means I now won't be able to celebrate anytime at all?
