IVF with Letrozole

Hi,

I've just changed clinics and they recommended adding letrozole in for day 2-6 of stims. When I searched for posts here, most people seem to be just prescribed it for ovulation induction or transfer and not a full IVF egg collection cycle. From what I gather it improves my own FSH production on top of stims so hopefully more eggs although I do respond well and quickly to stims. Has anyone else been prescribed Letrozole with stims and did you respond well to it?

Hello! Yes I had 2 cycles and both had Letrozol + Puregon. It worked well for me in both cycles. I have low AMH so I guess that allow them to give me a bit less of Puregon (350).

Thank you that's good to know, it's funny how clinics differ and with low AMH some clinics give max stims and others lower stims but it's whatever works for your body so glad that worked well for you.

Hi, yes I took letrozole from day 2-6 and responded like text book to the whole process according to our doc! I have low AMH, screwed up hormones and suspected blocked tubes and I'm 39 so going on the same treatment plan as first time (unfortunately 1st one failed) for my second try! 🤞
