Hi, i'm 32 and just recovering from another miscarriage. This was my 10th ivf attempt of two 5 day embryo's transferred.
The first cycle was 3 day embryo's and the second cycle was 5 day embryo's so done 2 full cycles in total now which included 2 fresh and 8 frozen. Had a mixture of 1 to 2 embryo's transfered each time. This is my 5th positive but have miscarried each time 1 was twins. 2 chemical pregnancy's and 3 negatives

Electric Shocks?
Hi All, Just signed up, diagnosed APS and LA recently and in looking at posts am very grateful to be diagnosed early after a stroke. Im trying to get to grips with different symptoms because I now listen to my body instead of ignoring and working through. Since starting Warfarin I get electric shocks

Flying with Fragmin
I'm due to fly to Crete which is a 4 hour flight in a couple of weeks. I currently inject fragmin (dalteparin) daily and will need to take this to Crete with me. Is there anything I should know in advance about taking the injections on board the flight? Any other advice on flying would be much appreciated

Thought I would write something positive out of something negative
Hi everyone I'm fairly new to this forum. I've had a really bad few months, as I mentioned before I lost a set of identical twins because of a placenta blood clot at 30 weeks. They discovered i had LA. It was the worst experience of my entire life and I will never truly get over it. I found out a few

Revolade and clotting?
Anyone experienced this side effect? Now I will be treated with Fragmin to dissolve the clotting in the legs. So going from Zero platelets to responding to good on Revolade and now got clotting. Is this possible to balance?

what kind of medical check-ups are normal during pregnancy?
Hi all I had an ultra sound last week with hurray! good results. Am now 12,5 weeks and baby is growing good. I am just wondering what kind of care other women receive during the pregnancy. I am on fragmin and aspirin, but apart from that I don't get a different treatment then other women (this might

Question about Splinter hemmorages
I know splinter hemmorages are a feature of Hughes syndrome and try are clots that appear in the nail bed as vertical lines but I'm not sure exactly what they mean. I am taking a low dose of Fragmin & a daily asprin. I have less splinter hemmorages but I am still getting fresh ones. In your opinion or

A wee update :)
I posted a while back regarding a new pregnancy. Well.....I'm now 8 weeks and a heartbeat has be found! Baby is growing well (I'm feeling terrible, which is a could indicator of hormone levels). Since my daughter, nearly three years ago, I've had 4 recurrent miscarriages. Whilst it is still early days

Will I bleed too much if I take Fragmin when menstruating?
I'm going on a 4.5 hour flight to Cyprus, I normally only take 75mg daily of aspirin. My GP said its up to me if I take Fragmin or not and I thought better to be on the safe side. GP said aspirin and flight socks, water and walking around for just 4.5 should be ok but I worry. My concern is that when

Symptoms "not" associated with aps have disappeared since injecting Fragmin
I have frequently experienced muscular aches and pains (all over), sharp pains in random parts of the body that rapidly migrate I.e I can feel pain in my head, then within the rib cage to the arm within seconds of each other. I also experienced numbness in the face during these attacks. I'm still experiencing

Update - GP who does not agree with Prof Hughes
So the GP relented, just. My DS now has 20 injections but, wait for it, cannot use them until he gets a blood test next week to check platelets, then when the GP has looked, bearing in mind the GP only works part time, he can use them, but after 5 days he must do another blood test so GP can check platelets

What is the difference between Fragmin & Innohep?
During my first pregnancy and part of my second I was on Innohep prescribed by an Internest Doctor (my old OB had always called it Fragmin so I thought it was just a brand name) I was taken off of it by a Hematologist who said I need not be treated. I miscarried a week later. I am 10 weeks pregnant

Graham Hughes' blog February 2013
February 2013 Recently, the Times of London featured a couple who had tragically lost a baby late in pregnancy. A 'stillbirth'. The Times railed against the unacceptably high rates of stillbirth in the UK and asked for more to be done to reduce its prevalence. Well...... a recent collaborative
