Symptoms "not" associated with aps have disappeared since injecting Fragmin

I have frequently experienced muscular aches and pains (all over), sharp pains in random parts of the body that rapidly migrate I.e I can feel pain in my head, then within the rib cage to the arm within seconds of each other. I also experienced numbness in the face during these attacks. I'm still experiencing pins and needles, however this is mostly concentrated to the legs and not as frequent.

Anyway, my haematologist told me that these symptoms do not present themselves in aps, which I accepted. However, with the exception of the pins and needles, I'm not experiencing any of the above and have not since injecting Fragmin. I'm also pregnant, so hormones could being playing a part. Could the haemo be wrong or is it coincidence?

Thanks

Helen

It's amazing how many so called experts dispute what we know we feel. Those pains you describe I experience and they did not go in pregnancy, but then I did not have fragmin in pregnancy.

Also I know when my INR is out of range but doctors have told it is not possible for us to tell when our INR is low.

Well iv'e never been pregnant- the numbness and tingling i get when my INR is off or sometimes a flare- your Hemo better read some of our literiture-and aquaint themselves with the magnatube off our symtoms---- so many wanna be aps dc.'s just P---- me offtake some paperwork for them to read or introduce them to our sight.i wave brought some things to my DC that was the people here explaining -how they feel-- what seems to work for them etc. we all arn't ehe same but i think some people are very simuliar- alot of you moms out there seem to have alot of things that effect you--- neep at them

All the symptoms you described I get as well, I think your doc is just misinformed. Good luck with your pregnancy and congratulations:)

I think you will find that the symptoms you describe are indeed attributed to APS.

Thank you for all your responses. Are there any medical documents out there linking the symptoms I've described to aps?

Yes I get those pains too and it is all part of aps! Most of my symptoms went when I was pregnant, but came back worse after!! Unfourtunatly unless dr is aps expert they are unsure of symptoms, I didn't present with classics but have aps never the less! Everyone is different. Good luck with everything x
