How much adrenal cortex is there in whole adrenal...?
Does anyone have any idea how much adrenal cortex whole adrenal approximately contains? I have been on 250 mg of adrenal cortex extract for the past year, after weaning off Medrol for adrenal fatigue, and have felt wonderful on it. But I have just started taking a supplement containing, among other things

Hi All. In Janurary I posted my first post here - quite upset - and not a little angry - because I'd just had a consultation with a really hostile rheumatologist who was refusing further treatment following a severe reaction to hydroxychloroquine. I saw him on Wednesday (the third appointment since

Hi everyone. Just an update on my recovery from my accident on May 12th. I'm 65 and I broke my hip, my leg, my collar bone and had a head Injury. I was in a pretty bad situation as the breaks were extremely bad ones. I really thought I would die as I lay screaming on the floor. Breaking a hip is said

My gp diagnosed me with Sjogrens in January after seeing a Dr in the UK while visiting my parents last year, he suggested I visit my gp & mention this when got home, however because my bloods didn't show anything the Rheumatologist would only diagnose sicca ( never mind Mt tooth that snapped off) so

What a laugh! Any one else been badly treated?
So after some 20 years of jumping through the NHS hoops to get a diagnosis and being badly let down, then going private to find that I did have limes disease and anaemia that the doctors didn't pick up from my tests. CD 57 range is 130 to 300 my results were -11! That's another story!! Last September

RHS facial paralysis since Decembhe - the longer it lasts the less likely it will go?
I had RHS on the 16 December and the left hand side of my face is still very paralyzed. My eye shuts now but doesn't blink and i find i have to tape it shut in the day sometimes as it gets sore even with the hylo forte eye drops. i have a referral to the facial nerve clinic but there is a long waiting

Do these really work
Ok so saw optometrist who agree with GP that my dry eyes is down to tear production not oil glands. Recommended Thera tears capsules, vita-pod ointment, lid wipes, heatnask & covers & hylo-forte drops to a tune of $170 but hylo-forte doing nothing can still feel my eyelids sticking occasionally, I seemed

Leflunomide Arava
I have been for 24 months on
Forteo
injections and only today read that all these complains may come from this drug. My Rheumi told me that I had no other choice than to start taking Arava to lower the Predisone.

Pain on T3! Iron is good. Cortef?
I am on 17mcg/3x daily. My joint and muscle pain is getting unbearable. I'm thinking its better to just quit meds and go back to treating this naturally with vitamins and good food. I have below range cortisol at all times of the day. Should I try Cortef next? Has anyone quit and treated naturally?
