Hoping this might help......
Tried
FODMAP
but being vegetarian as well made it impossible to follow. I have endured endless debilitating cycles of painful stomach cramps, constipation and diarrhoea. For a year i did get some relief from a cinnamon based tablet, Dida. Do try that if you haven't already.

symptoms worse 1 year after fodmap
Now I don’t know what to eat anymore, should I still stick to low-
fodmap
or not? I am taking probiotics and eating pre-biotics (low-
fodmap
). I am seeing my GP on Tues - but I doubt he will be able to help. I have no idea what to do next and I am afraid to eat anything.

I've also tried elimination, low
fodmap
, elemental, vegetarian & vegan diets but none of them seem to help. I manage my diet now with no gluten, dairy, sugar, caffeine or alcohol. I struggle with even the most simple tasks, I can't even walk to the supermarket without a high level of discomfort.

How long for fodmap to work?
Been following
fodmap
diet for 4 weeks under supervision of a dietician. So far no improvement, feeling so down, as having waited 7 months to see the dietician, was desperate for it to help with my symptoms.

Doctor says I may have IBS but I'm not so sure
So Been on
Fodmap
Diet for two week, symptoms only got worse in terms of stomach pain and painful bloating. So I’m now eating tiny amounts of food 2 forks full of dinner tonight and I feel sick full as if I’ve had 3 courses.

Eating vegetables during an IBS flare-up
I thought eating what I read to be low
FODMAP
vegetables would be a good idea for dinner. No meat or chicken, just 5 different vegetables. The result is really horrible stomach pain after a pain-free 'good' day. What am I doing wrong?

Bowel symptoms
On the low
fodmap
diet but this has only reduced gas, odd days where I would go a lot which was actually quite a relief. I have constant pain left side, back and leg and on amitriptyline. I seem to be having cycles despite the pill. Does anyone who has/has had bowel endo know these symptoms?

Soup... (with low fodmap ingredients of course)
Is there anyone here who has to restrict or even cut off their ingestion of soup? I cut off drinking even herbal teas and all quite some months ago. At that time it was clear to me that they cause premature bm s by somehow irritating the small intestine or something. Now i wanted to give soup a try(

Update ibs symptoms
I am still on a SIBO/
FODMAP
diet. I started to reintroduce foods, tried strawberry jam, corn flakes (nongluten), tuna. The tuna didn't go so well, it has pea powder in it go figure. I have two doctor appointments one to see my results and the other to see the specialist.

Latest Update
Only found out that sweet potatoes can high on the
fodmap
thing. Goddammnit. They gave me bread a jam and hot choclate whilst I was recovering from sedation - so if that's not an incentive !!!!! (and no it wasn't gluten free!)

Negitive Colonoscopy, Upper Endoscopy and CT Scan! No answers for extream abdominal pain
My Gastro told me to eat the Low
Fodmap
diet and take a probiotic. I have been doing that for 3 months. He seams to be giving up on finding the main issue. ICant sleep cant really eat ( it hurts to bad right after I eat anything ) I am a healthy guy that has never had any issues.

Tired and Drained
I kind of feel my stomach reacts no matter whether i am
fodmap
based or not so what the hell. Defintely comfort eating, gaining weight and feeling more insecure.

Potato (not sweet, normal)...
It’s low
fodmap
, it’s simply doesn’t fit into any risky category. Trace amounts of glycoalkaloids combined with my badly compromised tract?(corroborated by the fact that i virtually have no lactase and so sensitive to many many fodmaps (especially polyols i reckon)?

Unexplained abdominal pain ‘episodes’ - anyone relate?
I do have IBS and manage my symptoms with low
fodmap
diet which helps but does nothing for the pain. I feel like I’ve tried everything. Nothing helps these episodes and it is so horrible to have to live with - has anyone ever experienced anything similar?
