Potential IBS/Acid Reflux?
The doctors have now suggested a low
Fodmap
diet, which would include cutting normal breads/pastas/apples etc - but I ate these consistently all throughout feeling well/unwell, so I'm not sure if they can possibly be a trigger?

Fodmap free sauces
I have recently discovered a a range of
fodmap
friendly sauces which are delicious and I have had no flare ups, until last night. I tried a tika masala sauce, gluten, dairy and
fodmap
free, but within hours I had dreadful cramps, bloating, feeling sick and the runs.

Feeling helpless
I've been on low
fodmap
for much longer than I should be too and I just don't know where else to turn, I'm so fed up with it running my life but nothing seems to work. Has anyone found anything that helps?

IBS? How to libe with it?
Even the
fodmap
advice does not help me. I hardly eat anything, I am agraid it will cause me new pain. There are cramps after the meals and uncomfortable feelings in the whole stomach & belly. Sometimes constipation, other times diarrhoea.

Anyone with IBS taking alendronic acid for osteoporosis?
Hello, I was diagnosed with IBS about 2 years ago and managed to get it under control last year by following the Low
Fodmap
diet. However due to some unnecessary antibiotics given to me over the phone by a GP suspecting I had diverticulitis it has all flared up again.

Endo or just normal!?
Always been up and down with IBS however this all eased and finally got somewere after being suggested a low
FODMAP
diet. That period on September was hard! Bad pain to the left of belly button bloated like I had a football stuck inside my abdomen and pain when I tried to poop.

Confused about chocolate cyst
I have had problems with diarrhoea and win in the past which I have reduced by cutting down high
fodmap
foods. I’ve been put on the waiting list for ovarian removal but now I’m wondering if it seems drastic.

I've been refused any scans or imaging, and have been fobbed off by my GP. The NHS has failed me.
I then took matters into my own hands and tried low
Fodmap
for about 6 - 8 weeks - no improvement. Also tried gluten-free and lactose-free - no improvement.

Jackfruit Curry
I've made this recipe before and highly recommend it. https://www.thelastfoodblog.com/jackfruit-curry/#wprm-recipe-container-14467 I don't add onions or garlic so this makes it a low
fodmap
meal for those with IBS. I use garlic infused olive oil and Hing instead.

first steps to take if you’re noticing symptoms?
Should I do a food diary/elimination diet /
FODMAP
/food intolerance test or are there better first steps to take?

Symptoms a lot worse, no help from doctor
Have been told to try the
fodmap
diet and see how I get on. Cried my eyes out after I came off the phone. Literally cannot live like this. I’m also feeling like I’m not emptying my bowel or my bladder fully. I have been tested for coeliac also as my mum has this.

Which probiotic works best for your IBS? SpoGest-IB, Symprove or Phillip's Colon Health?
Due to my sensitive gut, I’ve tried eating a low
FODMAP
diet, cut out dried fruit, some vegetables (nuts, lentils,...), etc. and it seems like I can only eat carrots and spinach (you guys know the feeling :(.)

Had enough
I thought I kind of had a handle on it as along with the medication and cbt I’d also done
fodmap
with the help of a nutritionist and lactose and a few other things seemed to cause problems but I still have days like today where I’ve eaten none of those things, not even in the last few days, but I’ll

Recommended diets for IBS-D?
The low
Fodmap
foods make me want to laugh! I wish I could eat them. I preferred a vegetarian diet before IBS; now I can rarely eat any vegetables. As for fruit - maybe a small piece of banana and a few dried fruits.
