Parsnips - low fodmap?
I thought parsnips were low
fodmap
but I don`t have the latest information. I had some last night and have had quite bad wind etc since . Does anyone else have problems eating them?

Sluggish Bowel?
I've recently gone gluten free as part of a low
fodmap
diet and take golden linseeds (soaked in orange juice) to help with my IBS-C (this helps reduce some of the bloating I get).

Low FODMAP diet
I am so pleased to say that I phoned my doctor this week and said that I would like to follow the low
FODMAP
diet as I have been getting a lot of pain, wind and bloating. I said he referred me a few years ago and that the funding had been removed.

Fodmap Stage 3 Query
Hi I have just complete the reintroduction stage of the
fodmap
diet and moved to stage 3, personalisation. I tried an item from all the main categories for stage 2 but in stage 3 it keeps telling me I did not test this ingredient. It's doing it for flavourings and natural f avouring

Does anyone think their IBS is caused by stress/anxiety?
Although I am really careful with my diet (doing low
fodmap
), careful not to eat my trigger foods, exercise, don’t smoke, don’t drink (boring old sod!), try to relax and listen to a hypnotherapy vid on YouTube regularly p, I can’t get to the bottom (pardon the pun!)

New symptom?
I also took Mebervine and started the
FODMAP
diet. The first few weeks were great but if anything the Mebervine was blocking me up, so I reduced the dosage, eventually quitting it altogether in March 2016 as I wanted to see if the
FODMAP
diet alone was helping. Which on the whole it was.

Atkins diet
FODMAP
diet seems to be a favourite on here and I follow that because of ibs. Most veg on there are carbs with only a few greens. People also favour Atkins which is no carbs I know we are all different but had anyone done a study on diets

Gastro put me on low
FODMAP
diet and it has been great. No more bloating nor constipation. I was wondering if thyroid imbalance can affect bowels. I j’habite an ultrasound on my thyroid this week and I have 7 nodules but no horrible results.

Positive experiences in treating tortuous/redundant/super loopy long colon?
My main symptoms are a mixture of IBS-C and IBS-D, nausea and really bad gas pains, no matter my efforts on the low-
FODMAP
diet.

IBS C+D
Gave me a Low and High
FODMAP
list and told me to try this. It worked and when I went back was told it was probably IBS but that was it. I'm struggling all the time lately and so so uncomfortable.

KimiJea UPDATE
For me , this has been far better than any other product and way better than all the diets and
fodmap
offerings to resolve the IBS issues. I hope I am not speaking out to early , but as the product advertises , a noticeable difference after one week of treatment.

Fodmap question
hi all - I'm guessing this is probably the best place to ask
fodmap
questions. I was diagnosed with coeliac disease over a year ago and while improved I'm still fairly symptomatic. So I'm giving fodmaps a go...

Can peppermint tea cause more wind?!
(I already follow the
fodmap
diet) Today I`ve emailed the dietitian to ask if I can stop the dairy-free as I don`t feel it is helping at all - so far she hasn`t replied

Hyperthyroidism or anxiety?
I also have IBSC and following a
fodmap
diet which helps. I started sertraline for anxiety 6 weeks ago with terrible side effects then one gp sent me to an endocrinologist. The ultra sound showed a slightly enlarged thyroid and some nodules.

Had colonoscopy today.
They now think I have crohns 🙈 I have got to start the
FODMAP
diet as of tomorrow to cut everything out. I've been prescribed buscopan to help me out with the pain, bloating & gas and then suppositories to help with my bleeding. Has anyone else has these symptoms and all been ok?
