I thought parsnips were low fodmap but I don`t have the latest information. I had some last night and have had quite bad wind etc since . Does anyone else have problems eating them?

I think for a vegetable they can be sweet and depending on your cooking method can increase the sugar content - may need to avoid if you have an issue with sugar x
i too find them a windy veg. I mostly eat them roasted but also in soups.
Yes. I too suffer the same. I like parsnips but have to decline. I think it’s the carbohydrates/fibre.

Yes I don't eat parsnips as a rule but I have treated myself to one for Christmas I also don't eat cauliflower for the same reason, wind is so bad, and one brussle sprout is my limit for a meal.
