So fedup
I’ve done
fodmap
etc and been to see specialists. So it’s nothing I particularly eat and nothing nasty. But I’m just drained. The longer this goes on the more depressed I feel. I’m hardly eating or sleeping and have no energy whatsoever. I’m starting to wonder if it will ever end.

Just started FODMAP diet - not easy - new to forum
I would like some advice. My husband can eat normally but I am a week into Fodmapping, somewhat handicapped by other health issues, and as some older posts have said, I am finding it hard and - of course - restrictive. Although I love to cook, I am (literally) handicapped by arthritis. Nevertheless

My Years with IBS
The
FODMAP
diet is an option, I sort of half follow it, in that I have a rough idea, but I don’t check everything, that’s too much for me, but it is worth looking at. One thing I have discovered over the years is that many people suffer with IBS, but don’t like to talk about it, a bit like piles!

Dietary Restrictions
Have recently diagnosed IBS too so sticking to the recommended
FODMAP
foods. I need a plan but feel stuck at the moment. Can anyone give me advice on types of food to go for to lose weight with bad digestion?

Late Night/Early morning IBS Thoughts
We did discuss the
fodmap
and I said a nutritionist and advised not to do it without proper help from a nutritionist as it can cause further anxiety (which it has in the past) It was good to know more. If anyone an add to this, please let me know your thoughts.

Allergy v intolerance.
FODMAP
intolerance. A growing number of people with conditions like SIBO and IBS (which affect 10 to 15 percent of the population worldwide—hundreds of millions of people) are intolerant of certain carbohydrates, called FODMAPs, found in common foods like onions, garlic, and high-fructose fruits.

Pain down right side
Doctor told me that I probably have IBS, I was given advice of
FODMAP
and it helped. The same pain has returned occasionally but I've had also long periods with no pain on the same place. I also have a lot of swelling and sometimes constipation. Diarrhea is very rare.

New Here
Tried the
fodmap
at one point but it drove me a bit crazy..so any other advice would equally be welcome.. A shopping list of food that works for you would help, thank you.

I think l need antibiotics rather just being told I have IBS
I'm on a low
FODMAP
and feel weak and nutrient deficient. Plus it's made no difference. I'm really quite certain I've got some nasty bacteria lurking & a course of antibiotics might actually sort me out but I have no idea of how to get my Dr to consider this.

Do I have SIBO?
Have tried every probiotic known to man, soluble fibre, laxatives, drink water etc I’m even on a
fodmap
diet too but no change. Having a scan at the docs soon but fear it will be a waste of time, doc is puzzled. What do you guys think? The bloating is worse at night too.

everyone I'm a Newbie on this forum and I'm currently suffering with diabetic IBS, sitting now with hot water bottle trying to ease my aching back and sides (which I'm hoping are effects of stomach problem and nothing new to have to deal with) anyway I was wondering if anyone is on or has done the

Lactose intolerance
I've been on a low
FODMAP
diet for about six months now. I've had very little success at the introduction of the the various food groups. My first trial was with lactose, this didn't go well and I'm at the stage of being tested for lactose intolerance.

Ready and Willing to go
Today I've filled my Calendar in ready for all important dates, I've done my
FODMAP
list so I know what foods I can eat and instead of giving myself resolutions that I know I'll give up on, I've set myself January Goals, hopefully having monthly goals will keep me focused. 1 Treadmill 5 days a week

IBS C what works and advice
- low
FODMAP
helped with bloating but not constipation. So found Triphala (eg a prokinetic) which I think a lot of people hadn’t heard of but made massive difference for me.
