How long should I expect sleeplessness to last on Fluoxetine?
I’m 10 days in on 20mg of
Fluoxetine
and can’t sleep. Last night I managed about half an hour. I’m trying mindfulness and breathing exercises to help but to no avail. My heart feels like it’s beating too fast and I have to work on regulating my breathing.

An update on fluoxetine withdrawal and RLS
Last month I posted a question about SSRIs (specifically
fluoxetine
) and RLS. I’ve been trying again to withdraw from
fluoxetine
, this time paying more attention to the half life of the drug and tapering more gradually. I’m encouraged to report that my RLS seems to be reducing.

Anti-Depressent to help major anxiety
I have been on
Fluoxetine
for a month and a half now due to the fact that I was having frequent panic attacks. Luckily I didn’t experience any side effects when I first started. But the past couple weeks I tend to feel off balanced and sometimes like I’m not inside my body—zombie like.

Duluxetine, Hobsons Choice,? Which way to turn?
I started suffering from tingling and pains in feet some 8 years ago, and a neuro consultant after many tests told me the cause could not be found and suggested it may be the Statins I had been on for 10 years [after a heart attack], or high blood sugar as I was pre diabetic. My GP changed different

Is it safe to take an antidepressant (Duloxetine or Cymbalta) with liver disease?
Hi Everyone. Due to my pain, anxiety, and neuropathy, my doctor suggested taking Duloxetine. I read online that you should not take it with liver disease. I already take Lyrica. Any thoughts or suggestions regarding taking it or other safer drugs?? Thanks for your input.

Will coming off fluoxetine stop RLS?
I’ve been on
fluoxetine
for 9 yrs and had RLS for the past 3. Sometimes it seems to effect arm and side of face as well as legs, either down one side or another. Usually starts around 9pm. I sit in cold bath 2-3 x nightly to numb legs enough to get some sleep.

Duloxetine side effect?
I have been experiencing urinary urgency ever since increasing my dosage of duloxetine. Has anyone else experienced this after beginning on duloxetine or increasing the dosage?

Duloxetine
Took my first dose last night at about 9 ish; felt a bit nauseous during the night, and struggled to wake this morning - it was 9am 😂😂. And I feel a little bit not quite with it this morning! I’m hoping those things iron themselves out? My issue is that I go back to work tomorrow, so I’m thinking of

About to start Duloxetine
Just wondering the best time of day to take Duloxetine? Prescribed 60mg daily. Any tips/comments will be much appreciated. Previously taken Gabapentin, came off that because it caused anxiety; tried Nortryptiline early in December and that seemed to make me quite ill with faintness/nausea. So I’m a bit

Fluoxetine/Prozac
Anyone tell me what their experience with being on Prozac and then going off it did to them mentally, assuming you have ADHD? Since I was on it for decades, it has been a challenge.

Mirtazapine
The doctor has prescribed Mirtazapine for my anxiety as I’ve tried
fluoxetine
& Citalopram and didn’t get on with them . I have IBS-C and I’m worried that it will make my constipation worse than it already is .

I was in sertraline for a few years, I found it the best one after citalopram and
fluoxetine
absolutely did not agree with me whatsoever, sending me on wild binges, finding myself doing things I would never normally do and finally giving in to suicidal thoughts.

Alternatives to Mirtazapine
Hi, I've taken mirtazapine in the past and it was by far the best anti-depressant I've ever taken but I couldn't handle the weight gain (2 stone in a couple of months). Does anyone know if there's a similar drug that doesn't cause the weight gain (and preferably no/few other side effects). I'm currently
