Can anyone who has been on fluoxetine tell me the effects they have had on it and whether it helped them? I've been on 20 mg for over a month and wondering if someone would share their experience with me? Thank you !

Hi Bobbi3- I have been on fluoxetine for over 35 years. Fortunately I have never been bothered by any side effects. It does seem to help but like most meds does not take away the OCD completely. I just know that I do better when I am taking it as when I stop taking it for periods of time.

I agree with previous poster. I have been in it for almost a year now. Luckily no side effects, dies not take OCD away completely, but I have noticed a difference for the better
