I have been on Fluoxetine for a month and a half now due to the fact that I was having frequent panic attacks. Luckily I didn’t experience any side effects when I first started. But the past couple weeks I tend to feel off balanced and sometimes like I’m not inside my body—zombie like. If that makes sense?
Does anyone else deal with these feelings? Is it just my anxiety or is it the medicine?
I’m still on the lowest does but I’m hesitant to go up if I am going to continue to feel like this.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

My guess is that it's your anxiety and not the medicine that is making you feel that way. Anxious thinking makes your mind and body super sensitive to any changes and your anxious thinking blows it out of proportion. The more you focus on it the more the anxious cycle repeats and continues.
My persona experience is that meds can help some but they won't eliminate the anxiety/panic, it also takes therapy and/or learning to accept the anxious thoughts and feelings to recover. Check out the books and youtube videos by Dr. Claire Weekes or The DARE Anxiety book, youtube videos and program by Barry McDonaugh. Another good book is At Last A Life by Paul David.
