LBBB and flecainide
I wonder if anyone here with LBBB (along with AF / flutter or atrial ectopic beats) is also taking
flecainide
? I’ve been assured it’s safe but Dr Google has given me misgivings and my GP isn’t a fan, either. Steve

Flecainide
I am not sure how
flecainide
is going to help because these spasms come out of the blue and although I now know the triggers, they pass quite quickly. I have checked the side effects of
Flecainide
and noted that these can be quite debilitating too. Has anyone else had the symptoms I describe?

New dosage
It’s a few days since I’ve reduced my first
Flecainide
to 50mg keeping the evening one at 100mg and my heart is behaving well. Hope it continues to do so.

Flecainide (again)
Very interesting post by FraserB earlier. My problem is the opposite. Cardiologist raised my dose to 100mg x2 per day after being on 50mg x2 per day for a year and a half. After the third dose of the 100mg 2 hours before bed I felt terrible. The 2nd dose in morning I felt good with no reaction. Was worried

Flecanide/Diarrhoea
Sorry if you’re eating your dinner but anyone had diarrhoea after taking
Flecainide
for first time or indeed not first time? I asked cardiologist but he said it was more likely an upset stomach.

Flecainide and SVTs/Ectopic Burden
Flecainide
is one of the main drugs of choice for someone diagnosed with AFib and it has made my husband’s SVTs/ectopics mostly asymptomatic for 35 years. To our mind, without
flecainide
, how much worse would the SVT/ectopics be ? How many more Afib episodes would he have?

Meds vs Ablation
I am wondering if any of you folks have been successfully managing your Afib with
Flecainide
for rhythm control and an anticoagulant for stroke risk.

Bisoprolol and flecainide
having been given these two tablets for svt while awaiting ablation I was wondering if anyone knew whether this dose was rather high -
Flecainide
50mg and Bisoprolol 2.5 mg both twice a day. Have had to change meds after 40years as Disopyramide unavailable.

Ironically, discussing stopping
Flecainide
and this happens. Has anyone taken
Flecainide
for many years and stopped?

Flecainide and Diltiazam
Is anyone taking these two medication‘s together? When I did some research on taking these two medications together it looks like it can cause several side effects that can be dangerous.

12 month blanking period. Long post
I then reduced my
Flecainide
to 50mg before bed. Things remained stable and the 250 bpm episodes disappeared. Forward to late April and afib disappeared prompting an experiment with stopping
Flecainide
. This was unsuccessful.
