Flecainide

I have been on Diltiazem (Cardizem) 1 month and about 3 weeks ago combined it with Flecainide 50 mg 2x daily. has anyone else experienced stomach issues?

Anyway that was to lead to being put on flecainide. The other option was ablation which I don’t think I want. Wondered what you think and if you are on meds how you find it . Also was recommended to buy a kardiamobile again any information would be great

I wasn't keen on flecainide so declined it. This time the ablation went well and I was put on flecainide whilst still in hospital. I felt euphoric afterwards.I had four and a half months afib free.

Hello all has any one been put on flecainide for peroxsmal afib and sinus bradicardia I have both does af cause sinus bradicardia . Is there any bad side effects flecainide worried to take them as new tablet :)

My cardiologist recently advised me to change from using Flecainide as a PIP to taking 50mg tablets twice a day. A few days after starting this I became permanently dizzy so stopped taking the daily Flecainide and the dizziness stopped within the next couple of days.

I am currently on 10mg bisoprolol and 50g x2 flecainide which I have taken together before with no side effects. Just gone back on flecainide while waiting for a second ablation after af returned This time, coinciding with resuming flecainide I have been getting regular bouts of vertigo.

4 1/2 months post pulse ablation, taking Flecainide and Diltiazem. Cardio cut Flecainide dosing in half after heart rate was dropping dangerously low. Everything seemed OK, but started having swelling in legs, ankles, feet about 6 weeks ago.

Took 2.5 Bisoprolol instead of 1.25mg, and hoping the morning Flecainide tablet will kick in. Still new to this so on a steep learning curve to manage AFib, just fearing it will be persistent again now. Have no advice from doctors if I take more Flecainide or just wait and see.

I've been on Flecainide for almost 5 years now, it has kept me in NSR the entire time, and I've felt very little side effects if any. My new EP wants me to add Diltiazem because of potentially bad side effect of Flecainide....

However the Flecainide at this dose has stopped my AF episodes completely (for now anyway) though I do have some stomach issues which I think may be due to the Flecainide.

Question- could the flecainide make my heart less responsive to the change in activity levels ? I’m wondering if the daily amounts arent making PAF any less frequent , what’s the point of taking them ?

Hi everyone, is anybody on flecainide aware of any interactions with food? I've been on a health trying to lose weight and improve my over all diet by introducing nuts seeds and other healthy stuff.

The Dr. told me to stick to one of the devices, test every morning, and if in AFIB, take a Flecainide. So I tested every morning on my phone and took Flecainide as directed. I received my LR report for the month, and again there were descrepancies with the phone showing more episodes than the LR.

AF returned so back on Flecainide but NSR would not return without cardioversion. Flecainide upped and all well until radio frequency ablation was offered after a years wait.

He said Flecainide is unlikely to put me back in NSR, but hope it will keep me in it post the next cardioversion. My question is what I am to expect from the flecainide now?

So I was discharged on 60 mg Diltiazem and 2 x 50 mg Flecainide. This didn't do much, but increasing to 100 mg x 2 Flecainide was really effective, both at having no fast rhythms but also reducing ectopics.

I have been asked to stop one Flecainide 50mg per day ( I usually take three Flecainide per day) and replace it with one 1.25 mg Bisoprolol Can I take both together first thing in the mornings. Thank you all

Is there anyone taking 100mg Flecainide twice daily and Tildiem 60 mg twice daily? If so, have you had any problems with this combination?

Hello all I was on 3 x 50mg flecainide 2 x 5mg Apixaban 1 x 20 Atorvastatin I used to be on Bisoprolol as pill in pocket but I was taken off it as heart rate went to low New Cardiologist has changed meds to 2 flecainide daily and 1 Bisoprolol 2.5 Heart rate this morning 49 ?

Those of you who take Flecainide daily have you experienced PAF after a vaccine, or does Flecainide prevent? Thanks again.
