Holiday, abroad one month after AF ablation.
This will include anticoagulant,
Flecainide
,and metoprolol, the beta blocker as a precaution. Is this too soon to travel after an ablation. Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

How long did you wait for your 1st ablation?
As Im 57 he is not happy to prescribe medication that has long term side effects, and
Flecainide
is not an option because of my CAD. My choices are to do nothing now - but with the expectation that the Afib will get worse over time I think I'll just be delaying the inevitable.

There is research on the net which indicates
Flecainide
as having the ‘potential to regulate inflammatory-immune responses’. i know I have low grade inflammation for over a decade - gp said it was just my ‘base line’ and not to worry about it. Any thoughts?

2 months post ablation and frequent extrasystoles.
So I'm 2 months from my 1st ablation and supposed to now stop taking
Flecainide
but I seem to be permanently having extrasystoles, having hardly had them at all previously. They are fairly asymptomatic with me only sometimes feeling palpitations.

Stopping flecainide advice needed
I stopped taking my
flecainide
and propranolol 3 days before the procedure but I feel like the
flecainide
was still enough in my system to mask the SVT & VT when it was trying to be triggered.

Going off Eliquis
I check my sinus rhythm every day with my Kardia Mobile device and I am on 100Mg
Flecainide
per day. I am a 72-year-old man and very physically fit. Because of my history with AFIB I am on Eliquis. A three-month refill costs me a $500 copay on my insurance policy.

Flecainide sticking in esophagus
I’ve been on regular
flecainide
and bisoprolol for around three years and until today never really had any issues swallowing my 50mg tablets. However, this morning it seemed to stick in my esophagus at just above the chest area.

Successful PFA of multiple COX lines, Ligament of Marshall and a Chemical Ablation (Ethanol) of the Vein of Marshall
I'd tried all the meds available and
Flecainide
and a BB were helpful but not sufficient. I was being termed "Persistant AF" finally.

Heart rates in Afib and NSR
For the last month I have been on
Flecainide
and Verapamil. There now seems to little difference between Afib and NSR heart rates both being in the 60 to 90range . I thought Afib heart rate is expected to be higher as the heart works harder. I am feeling fine and have no symptoms.

Vivid dreams and disturbed sleep
I must say my episodes usually start in the night like many of you My EP says there isn't any other suitable drug for me as I can't take
Flecainide
and my blood pressure is naturally low so that limits me for some of the others. I am on the waiting list for an ablation

Afib and A&E - Update
They tried first with
Flecainide
in vein, it didn't work, not surprising as mine doesn't responds to meds. After the Cardiologist called the anaesthetist and performed electrical cardioversion straightaway. I was out by Sunday at 14:00.

Temporary AF during Covid?
I have PIP
Flecainide
and Bisoprolol that I have never needed to take since the ablation. I take Edoxaban daily. I currently have Covid and yesterday had a jumping feeling so checked my Apple Watch and it said AF. I immediately did several more readings and they all said Sinus rhythm.

How effective is cardioversion for Persistent AFib?
I propose to gradually stop taking
Flecainide
but I expect my persistent AFib, which commenced just over a week ago, to continue.
