What to take for acid reflux
I am currently on 100 mg daily
Flecainide
and 2.5 bisoprolol. Had an ablation for Paroxysmal AF last September. Here in New Zealand we have available at supermarket treatments like Gaviscon, Enos, Mylanta, Quickeez to settle the stomach.

Sinus rhythm with Supraventricular Ectopics???? What the heck??
I take
Flecainide
with a blood thinner twice a day, and extended release Metoprolol once before bed. What the heck is going on? Should I be worried? Does anything help to get me back & stay in normal sinus rhythm?

Am I doomed?
My electrophysiologist diagnosed me in 2017 with atrial fibrillation and prescribed
Flecainide
and Metoprolol Succinate (and Pradaxa), all of which I’ve tolerated well.

Change of flecainide brand from accord to milpharm.
I’ve just received my monthly
flecainide
medication and the pharmacy have changed the brand from accord to milpharm. The accord brand seems to be working well and I’m concerned about the change. Can anyone advise if I’m right to be concerned or otherwise please. Thank you

Took double dose of Apixaban and Flecainide
Even so, I'm concerned about the
Flecainide
and wondered if anyone else has taken too much in one go and how it affected their heart (if at all). Just when things were going so well . . . .

Alive, with thanks: update on nightmare
He confirmed that I did the right thing in not taking the
flecainide
because it's an old prescription + I had no idea how long I had been in arrhythmia before the tachycardia episode, but he was not prepared to issue any new prescriptions without input from a cardiologist.

Paroxysmal AF and Asthma
I immediately took my PIP of 100mg
flecainide
and within an hour and a half all was well again. Does anyone else have asthma as well as PAF and how do they cope with the salbutamol inhaler during an attack and does it affect PAF episodes. Thank you very much and hoping you are all well.

Persistent AF and breathlessness. Is it likely to be the cause?
But I’m just guessing My question is a), how likely is the reduction in AF heart rate, likely to be the cause of the breathlessness and b) does it sound like the breathlessness is caused by bisoprolol ( or
flecainide
)!.

Too much to take in!
After all that rambling I'm just wondering if 1) Anyone else is on the DOCCLA system 2) Is anyone on
Flecainide
or a PIP with any sort of structural heart problem 3) Has anyone been to a Cardiac Rehabilitation Dept. and what is it?

Feeling grim after hospital stay for AF episode - advice please!
Had particularly tenacious episode of AF which failed to respond to my usual
Flecainide
PIP. This led to hospital over the weekend. After a somewhat lengthy process I eventually returned to sinus rhythm with the help of more
flecainide
, more Bisoprolol and a new one for me, IV magnesium.

Flecainide pill in the pocket
I have been given
flecainide
as a ‘pill in the pocket’ to use when necessary for my paroxysmal AF. I’ve only used it once. The AF stopped immediately, but my blood pressure dropped alarmingly - it’s on the low side normally - and I felt faint and dizzy.

Starting flecainide 50 mg bid
I have been on
flecainide
50 mg in am & 50 mg in pm for afib, and 12.5 metoprolol succinate. Since my resting heart rate is 55 & have no problems with ventricles is it usual for low dose metoprol to be taken with bradycardia.

Low Blood Pressure and Heart Rate
My EP agreed I could come off
Flecainide
and just use it as PIP. However, he said I should stay on Apixaban. I had thought it was
Flecainide
causing the unpleasant side effects of dizziness, breathlessness and lightheadedness as well as stiff aching legs.

Flecainide weird side effects
I’m taking
flecainide
to prepare for the cardioversion. I’m in persistent afib with heart rate rage usually 70-90. I started to take 50mg yesterday for two times a day and I felt straight away hot, pins and needles in my hands and feet.

Permanent AF, decision to do nothing
While
flecainide
is indefinite limited time, and this was not discussed with me. 2. Start immediately so that I can have cardioversion before October if a place comes up. I chose the second one before starting the tablets.
