couple days of PVCs
I have AF 9 years controlled with Eliquis, metoprolol and
Flecainide
. For two days pVCs that almost take my breath away. Recent lexiscan normal. So annoying as I get them every couple of hours. They cause me anxiety which doesn’t help. anyone else?

Meds vs Ablation
I am wondering if any of you folks have been successfully managing your Afib with
Flecainide
for rhythm control and an anticoagulant for stroke risk.

Flecainide tablets disolving in mouth before swallowing
Hi Has anybody else experienced
Flecainide
tablets disolving in mouth almost instantly, leaving a bad taste and heat in throat , before swallowing with drink. It seems to be worse with tablets from Brown and Burke.

Flecainide (again)
Very interesting post by FraserB earlier. My problem is the opposite. Cardiologist raised my dose to 100mg x2 per day after being on 50mg x2 per day for a year and a half. After the third dose of the 100mg 2 hours before bed I felt terrible. The 2nd dose in morning I felt good with no reaction. Was worried

Bisoprolol and flecainide
having been given these two tablets for svt while awaiting ablation I was wondering if anyone knew whether this dose was rather high -
Flecainide
50mg and Bisoprolol 2.5 mg both twice a day. Have had to change meds after 40years as Disopyramide unavailable.

Flecainide
I am not sure how
flecainide
is going to help because these spasms come out of the blue and although I now know the triggers, they pass quite quickly. I have checked the side effects of
Flecainide
and noted that these can be quite debilitating too. Has anyone else had the symptoms I describe?

Blood tests a worry
Hi everyone, l was diagnosed with PAF several months ago, l was immediately put on Apixoban and given
Flecainide
as a PIP. In May my Afiibs increased from 2-3 a month to 2-3 a week.
Flecainide
was increased to 100mg a day, and then 200mg a day.

for that very reason and am suspecting the same now with propafenone. Has anyone else experienced this side effect?

Flecainide and Diltiazam
Is anyone taking these two medication‘s together? When I did some research on taking these two medications together it looks like it can cause several side effects that can be dangerous.

Flecainide and peripheral neuropathy
I have been having advancing peripheral neuropathy in my feet and lower legs for over two years now, and, coincidentally, after three ablations, back on
flecainide
as a pip (taking 1/2 of a 100 MG tablet at night).

Flecainide and excess gas
I’m on 50mg x 2 of
flecainide
daily and wondered if it causes the gas problem. I take the first dose at 6am and generally pass a lot of gas in the next two or three hours. I’m just trying to figure out if the flec has a history of this side effect. I’ve been on it for around 3.5 years.

flecainide side effects
Hi, Following a second ablation and rapid recurrence of AFib, I have been prescribed
Flecainide
, twice daily. I’m really struggling with side effects - most of which are as described in the leaflet which can with the tablets.

When to take PIP flecainide?
In the meantime my consultant has put me back on
flecainide
50mg bi daily plus an additional up to 100mg as PIP if AF kicks in. I’m now in AF almost every week for a few hours.

Amiodarone
After Bisoprolol and
Flecainide
stopped working I was prescribed Amiodarone last September initially on a loading dose of 3 x 200. This was reduced to 1 x 200 then raised to 2 x 200 when lower dose failed. My question is: do people on Amiodarone have regular blood checks?
