Coming off Bisoprolol
Flecainide
, Apixaban ,Verapamil, Folic acid, Simvastatin, Lovothyroxine is my cocktail. Three weeks on....! it is like seeing in 3D, after months of looking through a fog. I can lift my arms above my head .I can get to the kitchen without having to hang on to furniture on the way there .

AFib meds and painkillers
Been doing fine on daily 10mg Bisoprolol and 2 x
flecainide
for six years. Recently started taking Naproxen and Cocodamol for arthritic pain and notice very low heart rate (42) and slight AFib feeling in the evening. Anyone else noticed this is they take painkillers?

Here we go again……..!!
and have been waiting nearly a month now for an echocardiogram to determine the structure of my heart with a view to taking
Flecainide
as a PIP? He said the goal was to try and abate persistent Afib for as long as possible?

Back in good old AF!!
who says I’m a candidate for
Flecainide
as a pill in pocket approach pending an ECG etc. to ascertain the structural integrity of my heart.

Ablation Booked
Would love to stop the
Flecainide
and feel that my life is more back to normal, not constantly checking my pulse and being hyper sensitive. Stats appear to suggest chances are high in it doing the trick so fingers crossed.

Want to mange this thing!
Now 2 ablations later I am on Verapamil (calcium channel blocker),
Flecainide
and blood thinner, called Xarelto. In about 2 weeks I want to stop
Flecainide
and monitor. Will use PIP (either Sotalol or
Flecainide
) if I have episodes. Cardiologist has labelled me as having Afib, but I am not so sure.

Flecainide and hair loss
Hi everyone, my doctor said it’s the
flecainide
that’s causing the hair loss . It’s coming out a lot now and am worried as when I asked a pharmacist he said it will carry on as long as I’m on
flecainide
. Trying hair supplements but no good.

Atrial tachycardia
I do apparently have multifocal ventricular ectopics which from time to time do give unsettling symptoms for which I take
Flecainide
. I’m on Diltiazem for the atrial tachycardia and of course Apixaban. Is there anyone else here in a similar situation?

From Flecainide and Sotalol to Metoprolol
He took me off from
Flecainide
and Sotalol and put me on Metoprolol (25 mg twice a day) and keep having Digoxin through. My energy has improved a bit and, in general, feel much better… I didn’t have the Ablation indicated by my previous cardiologist.

Trying IV
flecainide
.... fingers crossed. As you can imagine I'm beyond upset. I've just finally returned to work and started to get my life back together after the long ablation recovery. I even rode my 'proper' bike last week....

PIP
I was taking 50mg
Flecainide
am and pm and Bisopralol once a day. 4 weeks ago my
Flecainide
was increased to 100mg and still 50mg at night. I was taken to hospital 2 weeks ago as my HR was between 120 and 150 for 10 hours but eventually went back into normal rhythm on its own.

I skipped my evening dose of
flecainide
which is 100 mg. I just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. So far I have had no side effects. Thank you.

Drug Combinations
Have been taking Diltiazem and
flecainide
for many years which seems to have kept AF under control. However after recent bad experience with Losartan for BP I have been prescribed Amlodipine. Does anyone out there have experience of two Calcium Blockers?

How does Digoxin work?
I’m also taking
flecainide
200mg and bisoprolol 5mg. The dr has said I won’t take digoxin at home. A) If the digoxin works in hospital, as my heart is in AF, what is to stop it increasing pace once I am up and about again. B) what are the likely next steps if the digoxin doesn’t work? Thanks
