Results are in - T3/T4. Does anyone know what the lower ranges for serum ACTH and DHEA are? My area uses 0 so I’m ‘normal’ apparently
Hi lovely people. After my dire saliva cortisol results, my private endo requested some blood tests. But they look like they are pretty much normal? The only thing is, the ranges for ACTH and DHEA start at zero, which I thought was weird. Also, I wouldn’t have tested my TSH, FT3 and FT4 yet as I’ve been

Would appreciate input on latest bits A, E, and ferritin levels
I take
fish
oil
and dried beef liver capsules daily (together, they are said to contain 100% of RV) since reading that non-animal vit A (beta-caroten) is hard for the body to convert. But should my vit A levels be even higher?

HRT post hysterectomy
I’m after a bit of general advice. I’m about 12 weeks post total hysterectomy and I’m 42. They started me on Tibolone and it was great at first. My memory is terrible, I’m having these horrid episodes where I can’t think straight/concentrate. My moods are so up & down & I’m exhausted. I’m warm but not

Hello all. Just wanted to come on here to see my two week winner badge!!! Whoot Whoot!!! I am feeling much better. My breathing has become easier. I’ve been experiencing mini (minor) headaches each day, for the past few days. I actually took some Motrin for upper back pain (I also contribute this to

Burning tongue, dry mouth
Sudden sore tongue and dry mouth aged 60. Acid taste in mouth. Other than that very fit and healthy. Take no medications. My main concern is bad breath & teeth issues. Has anyone taken fish oils or similar to help with the dryness? Any tips welcome!

IBS basics for beginners
Dear all, I have recently been suffering from excess burping and stomach pains for which I became dependent on Nexium for a couple of weeks. I have recently found that this is due mainly to changing from almond milk to lactose free milk, and also because I have been drinking a lot of decaff tea and

What is the treatment for central hypothyroidism?
Hi, I posted yesterday asking about a possible link between POTS and hypothyroidism as I was seeing the Endocrinologist. He hadn't heard of POTS before. But when he looked at my recent results, see below (currently on 45mg Erfa & 25mg Levo) he said that it seems more likely now that I have central hypothyroidism

Is there a link between hypothyroidism and POTS?
Hi, I had a tilt table test last week for suspected POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). When I was raised into a standing position, my heart rate went from 75 to 117 immediately, and I felt very dizzy with blurry vision, felt like I was going to pass out. Heart rate stayed around 110 for

New and struggling to get diagnosed (central hypo?)
I've been presenting to my GP and local hospital with chronic exhaustion, weight gain, low mood and muscle pains (severe enough to have me using a walking stick any time I know I'm going to be on my feet for more than 30 mins solid or walking uphill/upstairs) since May. In July I had a whole-head MRI

Happy with Monarch eTNS device so far! Just wanted to share after years of feeling hopeless with this ADHD struggle
My son who is almost to 9 has just started using the Monarch etns device. We had to take him off of ADHD stimulant medication. That was a nightmare. I have never been a huge fan of wanting to do stimulant medication with him we struggled with giving it to him for years. We tried essential oils, vitamin

So so desperate for a baby I think I’m going to burst! Are you with me? What’s your TTC journey been like so far?
Hey guys 👋🏻 Do you feel this absolute pain and longing?? It’s completely taking over my life! We’ve had two miscarriages this year! First was at 10 weeks and second 8 weeks but baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. My whole of 2019 I’ve spent pregnant, losing baby, bleeding, waiting for operation, waiting

Has anyone tried using castor oil packs?
I seem to be having way less pain since using castor oil packs. In the hope of reducing the size of/ eliminating fibroids and endometriosis. My stomach is always flatter immediately after using them. And the more that I use them the less painful my periods are. Just a thought to share with you all.

Living with metastatic disease, long term ADT & crotch rot
Having been on ADT for 5 years, one of the problems I have encountered is good old crotch rot. I tried Gold Bond Mens powder, which made quite a mess but didn't seem to stop the fungus that would grow in my crotch, between my buttocks, in my belly fold, under my breasts and sometimes under my arms
