hi all, is it safe and ok to have a covid booster after starting down regulation for an FET. I’ve been told by my doctor I can have a 4th booster but don’t want it to affect my FET. What do you all think?
Thank you 😊

My consultant advised against getting the *3rd* booster last winter during an FET- just until after a test result either way- in case of any immune response; would imagine it's the same advice this time round? x
My clinic couldn't care less when I asked the question. I was planning an HRT frozen transfer (medicated) and I had the prostap on the 29/08 then the covid booster on the 5/9. The cycle in the end was cancelled around the end of September as my lining stop growing. I don't think it had to do with the booster.
I had a covid vaccine during downreg and before stims for a fresh cycle. I fell pregnant from that round.
While there's apparently no evidence to say having the covid vaccine/booster will affect IVF outcomes, I probably wouldn't have it a month or two before an FET. The reason is that you don't want your immune system on high alert just before an FET as in theory this isn't the kind of environment you want for an embryo to implant.
Hi, my doctor asked me to wait in case i had an adverse reaction to the shot. Xxx
Only thing is say it could affect is the timing of your cycle - this hasn't been properly studied but just anecdotally with me and some of my friends it affected my cycle length for a couple of months after having it. May have been a coincidence but for me personally I'd ideally avoid a booster close to treatment if possible x
thank you for all the advice, much appreciated x
