Hi HealthUnlocked
Fertility
Warriors! I hope everyone is hanging in there. After 7 rounds of egg collections in 2019 (aged 42) and 2020 (aged 43), I ended up collecting 6 PGS normal embryos which I froze. I then took a break over Covid to recover, physically and mentally.

My private health care won't cover it as its linked to my
fertility
treatment (and that's excluded from my healthcare cover). Has anyone had this op privately? If so, where and how much was it? I've heard it's about £8k. I live in london. Thanks

BFN 💔 - What next?
I definitely want to try again however I don’t even know where to start with the research into private clinics… I feel like the next step is going to be far away as we will have to work out a way of getting the fundings for the next cycle… in the meantime my
fertility
time is ticking and it stressed

Undiagnosed PCOS
I went to a
fertility
clinic last year to check my egg reserve and have a scan to check everything was ok. I am single and 36 and thinking of my options to become a mum.

Could you spare a few minutes to help us to help future fertility patients?
We are carrying out a survey to look at the impact of

How is everyone feeling?
Saw the shocking post on the
fertility
forum about a late 2nd trimester loss. So sad and shocked for their loss. It’s just so bloody unfair! It’s ramped my anxiety up so much. Feels like we can never relax and enjoy things 😥. I force myself to not get excited or get my hopes up, just in case.

Hi
fertility
warriors I still can’t believe it but… the scans keep insisting I’m having a baby. Feel completely exhausted and sick as a dog but can’t go home to HK til august as all quarantine hotels booked. In Galway now. This will be the most travelled lil bean ever.

Newly identified ALD carrier
With my
fertility
clinic, we had to complete Sema4 genetic carrier screening. I came up positive for x-linked adrenoleukodystrophy. We have no family history. My question is.. Did anyone that is a carrier then go on for further testing? VCLFA panel? MRI?

Finally received Endo diagnosis following laparoscopy... advice/support for next steps please!
Fertility
is another area that concerns me as I'd love to have children. I seem to have more questions now than I did before and it feels quite daunting. Since the operation I have suffered with a bladder, tract and kidney infection and Enterococcus faecium.

New drug for treating hot flashes under FDA review
Eventually, her laboratory identified three signaling proteins produced by these neurons: Two, kisspeptin and neurokinin B, were found to have important roles in
fertility
; the third is dynorphin.

LOCI Trial
Fertility
can be a very lonely place so feel free to reach out. I am on my second month of the trial. The first month was unsuccessful due to me not ovulating at all.

I NEED SOME OPINIONS
I could treat my symptoms, and maybe try to increase my chances of
fertility
by doing regular exercise and diet, and taking these pills for a time period of 3 months that would force my period to come, but she couldn't promise me I could ever become pregnant.

Azoospermia straight to ICSI?
Hi, I hope everyone is doing okay with their
fertility
journeys. I wanted to ask if anyone has experience of
fertility
consultant moving straight to suggesting ICSI when azoospermia is not fully investigated?
