Feeling Terrible. Latest Results
Hi All, Since early November, things seem to have gone off balance with me. I have been 'parked' on 50mg of Thyroxine, since 2020. I have asked for a rise several times and been refused. Recent surge in symptons are growing in number and affecting me badly now. Lots of muscle and tendon pain all

Achilles tendonitis and damage due to antibiotic side effect - odd icy sensation?
I have had RA for nearly 10 years, currently on Benepali and Metotrexate injections. Rheumatoid factor 74 and Anti-cpp 600 in 2014 and generally do not score above normal for blood CRP tests (interesting anomaly) even when ultrasound in clinic reviews shows inflammation. As well as small joint hand

Natural or Medicated FET?
Hi all Just looking for your experiences on FETās, and whether you found you had better luck with medicated or non medicated? We have had 2 Non medicated FETs (1 with intrellipids) in 2021/2022 with both ending in early losses. We have frozen eggs and the doctor has suggested next time round

Trying out T3 - The first blood test is due
I know this question has been asked many times in one way or another. Here it comes again: My conversion is not good, and even with a nearly suppressed TSH and fT4 is in the upper half through the reference range, the fT3 is lingering in the lower end. The symptoms are minor but annoying, and I believe

Hashimotos - understanding latest blood test results - any advice for next steps?
Hi all, my partner (44F) has been struggling with hypothyroid / possible PCOS symptoms for ~18 months (thinning hair all over, some hirsutism and weight gain). She was diagnosed with Hashimotos in October 2022. We have been trying an approach to tackle both the thyroid issues and the hyperandrogenism

T4 level rise
Hi, does anyone have an idea of why T4 levels can rise? My t4 was 13.8 and 4 weeks later 48.2, Iāve not changed a thing! Not taken anything new, had no stress or illness this month, itās been a pretty quiet one! If itās not a lab error could it be due to another autoimmune disease that I donāt know of

Research paper about T3/T4combination treatment. What happened there?
I became aware of this through "Endocrinology Advisor": https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38124252/ The link to the paper was not given. I found it myself. "Conclusions: Six months of combination therapy with twice-daily LT3 dose adapted according to TSH-level do not significantly change peripheral tissue

Price of T3
Hi - My GP tells me he cannot subscribe T3 even if recommended to by a private endo as London SW health authority doesn't allow it. My only option (apart from moving house!) is to get a private consultation and trial. I intend to do this as I need to know if I can feel better or not He cautioned me

Help with how to proceed
Delighted to report that after 6 months trying and trialling different levels of Eltroxin, I have at last persuaded the GP to agree to adding t3 back into my prescription. Iām not sure how best to take it though, whether to reduce eltroxin or not. And the GP really didnāt know but gave me 10 Thybon as
