After reading some answers to my previous post on Slippery Elm someone also mentioned marshmallow root so I looked it up. Would you believe it is also said to help with bladder issues. This being music to my ears as still having UTIs (putting this down to my thyroid levels being low and the long slow introduction of T3 to my Levo having rushed it last time!).
So for the sake of my bladder/gut/sanity can anyone recommend a good quality marshmallow root and slippery elm as a back up.
please and thank you. 🥰

I found lots of testimonials from bright young women who had been blighted by UTIs - as I was all through my adult life until being given a repeat script for ABs in my 30’s. I only took when that ‘tingle’ started and it kept UTIs at bay at a price. Then taken off me and told I could just phone up every time I needed them again. It was retaliatory (long story). Anyway the doctor did me a favour, though it wasn’t the intention, but I started looking earnestly for a natural solution. Never had a UTI since. However 2 additional factors came off contraception and got onto levothyroxine.
thanks for reply but tried D-mannose and didn’t really help. I’ve tried many different natural options and nothing very useful. Hiprex was good for a while but then started getting nauseous and pain in urethra so had to stop them. At the moment my thyroid levels are far from optimal so may have something to do with it. Working on getting them sorted but I rushed it in the past and now having to take things slowly. Three steps forward, two back but on the right track.
