RLS and augmentation – the battle for sufficient treatment.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who has answered and advised me - both on inquiries regarding switch from pramipexole to pregabalin and experiences of treating RLS with morphine only. It has been a BIG help - thanks to you, my doctor has for the time being agreed to give me a small dose of morphine while

update in RLS in pregnancy
I wanted to thank you all for your advice and understanding. I had midwife appointment today and mentioned rls. As expected she knew the name, but was completely clueless about what it is. She was hesitant to accept my ferritin is too low, but at least she referred me to a doctor. I also referred

For those of you who have tried it, what has your experience been. Overwhelmingly positive reports on here so far but my husband, whose ferritin is dire, on 4 months of 3 arrows it’s got worryingly worse June 23 Thorne bis 25mg 36.9 (30-400) Dec 23 Thorne bis 50mg for 5 months 52.3 (30-400)

Help with vitamins
My ferritin and B12 keep going down despite the fact that I take supplements. Since being diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, Coeliac and SIBO they were steadily going up - I got my ferritin from 2 to 75, but in the last year it’s gone down to 39. My B12 is at 318 and was almost 500 a year ago. Does anyone

1 year post diagnosis
I am a 54 yo male living in Vegas, I found out I was Jak2 positive last year, looked at labs before doctor and freaked. I have been having slightly higher RBC and Platelets for around 6-7 years. I used to donate blood pretty regularly and took testosterone, so the doctors kinda ignored it. I was a paramedic

PLMD medication
Hello I just joined because i was recently diagnosed with PLMD. The doctors don't really seem very informed about this condition. My ferritin level was fine around 200 so I decided to not supplement that even though the hospital advised me to. I then went onto take Pramipexole (didn't help) for

Private GP visit
I saw I private GP today as I felt with more time to go through my symptoms and tests I might get somewhere. But she is of the opinion that my B12, ferritin and folate levels were all fine and nothing to worry about. They are within range. I asked about my symptoms, but she didn’t feel they warranted

Iron Levels
this group is so helpful. Thank you to everyone, especially those experts. I’m currently weaning off pram with higher doses of gab. My PA in neurology is helpful with raising the gab as needed. However, I had my iron tests done with a 350 ferritin result and a 12% TSAT. So if I understand this

ferratin blood level
Hi, I’ve got a ferritin level of 40.5 (30 - 169) To me this is low isn’t it? Also I have been taking spatone iron sachets for 6 months so would you say I’d need a higher iron supplement? If so could anymore please advise on a decent one ?

Heme vs Non-Heme Iron Supplements
Since being diagnosed with low ferritin three months ago, I've been on ferrous sulfate tablets (1 - 65mg along with 500 mg vitamin C twice a day with meals). It's been working fine (went from 11 to 45 in a month) without any side effects. However, early on, I purchased a bottle of Three Arrows Heme after

dry eyes and mouth?
hi again all! I am very depleted in ferritin and am awaiting an infusion. I also started b12 injections 3 months ago for PA but I don’t think they’ve been often enough (1x/month). Also just got diagnosed with subclinical hashimotos (thyroid levels are still normal). I’m grasping at straws trying to

Ferritin, B12 and folate results
Hi all I’d be grateful for any advice on the following results and details of the best supplements to take if you think I should boost them? The ferritin seems particularly low (even if it is technically in range). I eat red meat and leafy greens but struggle with things like liver so I guess I’d

Misdiagnosis? Fibromyalgia or PA?
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 19 years ago, but I wonder whether it was a misdiagnosis. I am still waiting for a PA diagnosis, but have been experiencing many of the symptoms of PA for months. Many of the tests I have done have shown low B12, low folate, low ferritin, all within range but low

Ideal ranges info
Hello everyone,Does anyone have a post on calculating target ranges for each of the vitamins we care about (vit d, ferritin etc). I have scrolled through pinned posts and searched but couldn't find the info in one place. Happy Friday to all.

Haematologist’s unsupportive B12 response
In a recent pathology test, my gastroenterologist was concerned with my low haemoglobin count and a high reticulocyte count. She mentioned that although I’m low in ferritin (40) I’m not yet needing an iron infusion just yet. My white cell count was seemingly low also and she suggested that I should get
