Fenofibrate

I have high cholesterol , at 8 , i have tried all statins and cannot tolerate any of them.My main worry is i have had clots in the past and had a hemothyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer . I am just so worried about taking these as it states clots in the lung ,i also have copd and scarring of the lungs

Pls any one here help.I m under medication Daxid 100mg - 2 tablets per day ( sertraline) Clonotril 2mg - 2 tablets per day (Clonazapam) One glucose tablet per day 2 blood pressure tablets per day 1 cholesterol tablets per day ( atenolol and fenofibrate ) PLS HELP SOMEONE

My doctor suggested a few different drugs, like rifampricin, naltrexone, and fenofibrate for my itch. He prescribed fenofibrate as he thinks it works best. Does anyone here take it and if so, has it helped? I'm worried about the warnings it comes with about severe liver damage.

Additional info: 6'1", 175 lbs. skinny build with slight belly. non diabetic. only had a history of high cholesterol and triglycerides which has been managed in range in medication Lipitor and fenofibrate. Bonus question; anyone experienced with fenofibrate?

I have had no choice but to go back on some tablets nd increase one, but have told her I did not want Statins again, she has given me Fenofibrate 200mg daily and also another blood pressure tablet, Amlodipine 10mg along with Bendroflumethiazide 5mg daily.

Their doctor put them on Perindopril for high blood pressure, Amiodipine- a calcium channel blocker, and Fenofibrate for high cholesterol. He thought they made his legs so much worse (his doctor doesn't seem to listen to him just prescribes new tablets) so came to me for help.

I take 40mg atorvastatin and 176 fenofibrates together and have some pain too from time to time but I noticed that the pain is more strong when I think of it.I know sounds ridiculous but when I don't think I might have pain from statins I feel almost no pain...sometimes brain is strange

Someone asked if Dr. Jones' book mentioned the use of fenofibrates.... yes, it does in several places. This might be a good book to have if you are considering using them. I usually take metformin and Voglibose Tablets and Fenofibrate Capsule 、sursodeoxycholic acid tablets, I also exercise, but my fatty liver can't be reduced, is there any other medicines I can take?

Then I saw many take fenofibrate instead so I was curious as my doc did not mention it as an option.

Dr would like to put me on either fenofibrate or Zetia. I have read lots of not-so-good side effects from the fenofibrate. Anyone have experiences with either of these medications good or bad?

Back in February the previous liver specialist put me on Fenofibrate which made me very ill. This was to address recurrent elevation of ALP and ALT. I’m so glad to have now found another way to normalise these liver readings with an approach that’s having no side effects.

I have recently been prescribed Fenofibrate improvised capsules 200mgin order to reduce my cholesterol .

An internist suggested that mixing the urso with fenofibrate has shown good results for patients with PBC. I was recently diagnosed with PBC overlap AIH. Are any of you talking it together? Any insight that you could share with me?

My endo put me on fenofibrate to bring the triglycerides down. My latest results attached. Please note, despite what the results say, I did fast for this test and my cholesterol has sky rocketed.
