Hi all I had total hysterectomy and Boston in April 2017 and was put on estradoil 2mg from day 2 of surgery. I have not had any of the usual side effects but over the last year had lack of concentration, fizzy head, visual disturbances that then turn into headaches, heavy head, tension in shoulders,

Cholecystitis and Cirrhosis
Evening all - it's some time since I posted on here, the last time was probably to report my gallbladder problem. My problem remains unsolved and I'm now desperate for some advice. I was diagnosed with cirrhosis about two and a half years ago, since when I've had regular six-monthly u/s scans - my liver

Coming off Ramipril for Hernia operation
I have a hernia op in a few days but I'm worried about my Ramipril cough putting too much stress on my hernia repair for the first few weeks. I've got used to holding my hernia in when I cough or sneeze, but I'm wondering if too much coughing straight after the op will affect the mesh and stitches which

California wildfires and stress/- update
I live in Northern California and have been enduring power blackouts for weeks. Today we have the 4th blackout in 3 weeks and are being told the blackouts could go on go another month as there is no rain in the forecast. Thank goodness no fires have started near me and I haven’t had to evacuate!

‘Phantom ovary pain’ when you’ve had them both removed?
Hi all, 13 weeks post-total hysterectomy and bi-lateral oophorectomy here and generally, all is well thank goodness. However, I’ve started to get what I can only describe as ‘ovulation’ pain on and off in the area where my ovaries used to be! Obviously I can’t be getting ready for a period with none

Femara and irregular bleeding?
HI I have been having irregular bleeding since I came off femara. Is this normal? I went to the gp and she said I should go to the fertility clinic as she has no idea about fertility medicines. My question is could the irregular bleeding be due to me taking clomid after taking femara? Or is it just because

Hysterectomy and oophorectomy
Hi, Would like to hear anyone's experience of hysterectomy and oophorectomy, as my surgeon is suggesting it for me. I have a frozen pelvis/ bowel endo. I'm very worried about going into sudden full blown menopause, as my hormonal imbalance is horrible enough as it is! I'm not sure if it would be a case

Contemplating switching from Femara to Anastrazole
Hi! Afraid of change, per usual. Anyone make this change previously? The reason my oncologist suggested it was the side effects of letrozole (maybe Ibrance too) @ times put me down-as I feel like day after car accident feels or I’m 80-90 years old. My reluctance to change is for following reasons: 1

Referral consultant operating on bowel/ureter and possible left ovary removal... Should I be concerned?
I am currently on the waiting list for my first laparoscopy following diagnosis of endometriosos via MRI. The gynaecological consultant has an interest in endometriosis. Her clinic is described as a 'one stop shop'. She attempts to treat issues quickly and with minimally invasive options. I appreciate
