Hi

I recently posted about my bout of jaundice caused by biliary blockage and subsequent 2 sessions of biliary sepsis

Results of scans tubes down throat to remove stones, take biopsy and place a stent are in

Well

A pre cancerous polyp where pancreatic and bile duct enter duodenum !

So a preemptive operation needed

Remove gallbladder, head of pancreas, most of bile duct and part of duodenum. Then connect all the bits together- quite a big operation called the whipple’s operation

Without complications in for ten days then quite a long period of recovery

I thought just a gallbladder removal by keyhole surgery on the cards.

Onwards and upwards

Probably will be end November

😳

Hi R1100S1 That must have came as a shock

That's a lot of information to take in when you least expect it!

Hope it all goes well with the operation and you have a good recovery.
