How to help my husband
My husband was diagnosed with alcohol related cirrhosis of the liver a couple of years ago. He has been a heavy lager drinker for many years and this has caused a terrible strain on our marriage. He has always refused to stop drinking. Even after his diagnosis, he continues to drink. His view point

New here - does fatty liver and gallbladder polyp need a follow up?
have had raised ALP for a while and was sent by GP for a liver ultrasound. I only found out the results were back by looking at my electronic record as the surgery haven’t contacted me. Struggling with life
I have posted a few times lately, but myself and my partner are struggling. After feeling absolutely crap with ascites and sickness, for the first time since being diagnosed last December, my partner can only focus on the bad. He's such a lovely man, happy, funny. We have loved each other fiercely for

An update - hubby readmitted to hospital just over 3 weeks ago, which was only 4 weeks after previous admission.Getting any information from the medical team is a nightmare: I don't know if he's seen a liver consultant or nurse. I gather the kidneys have improved, the albumin infusions have stopped,
