scan showed fatty liver
The GP called today to discuss scan results, she said I had
fatty
build up on my
liver
, blood tests are normal. All she said was to lose weight. Didn't give me any information or guidance whether it's reversible or what diet is the best so I am feeling a little lost.

Worried
Hello, i was diagnosed in January with a moderately
fatty
liver
and slightly raised enzymes. I had foolishly continued to drink as my GP said only to reduce and not abstain. My question is, can a
fatty
liver
progress to damaging levels in 6 months?

I was able to visit him for the first time on Christmas Day, he was part way

Still no symptoms
Hi Nearly a year since being told I had decompensated cirrhosis, sadly I've not been able to stop the drinking but have given up the opiates. Still doing my best to pack in the drink but it's hard. cold turkey for opiates is so easy compared to alcohol. I still want my drugs but I can tell myself no

I really don’t want a liver transplant but do not know how to get of the list for good.
I really don’t want a liver transplant. Last year in December I was out on the liver transplant list. I got called in within less then a week after being put on the transplant list. 14th December 2021 to be more precise. But it never happened. And just felt the whole excise was a trial run. I been attending

recent F3 diagnosis and need help with food queations
I’ve had
fatty
liver
for 30 years and never took it seriously but was recently diagnosed with F3 severe scarring via fibroscan. My liver enzymes aren’t bad. Just one is on the high side but not awful.

Soz for all the questions
Hubby back in hospital, major hemorrage this time. He has had 5 varices banded and still sedated. I'm just about coping, but question is with decompensated liver disease can you still get on the transplant list even if you have came out if hospital in the past and drank. I asked the consultant today
