Bad news is I have
fatty
liver
disease and it was more extensive and serious than we had expected. On a scale of 1-4 I rank the beginnings of a 3. 4 is cirrhosis of the liver. Good news is at this point it is somewhat reversible.

compensated question
Saw one of my consultants doctors last week who felt on examination that ascities was gone. I asked him does that mean I’m compensated and he said I could be. He sent me for an ultrasound and the results were good apart from the usual cirrhosis scarring and gallstones. Trace fluid also which he said

Fatigue after eating
However I am still struggling and this week, I got a letter from the liver nurse advising that my last US showed a bright, patchy
liver
which I believe refers to
fatty
deposits? I am left wondering if my symptoms are caused by this despite the normal bloods?
