Visiting Turkey to Buy T3 (Tiromel)
Has anyone been anywhere in Turkey recently (or recently ish!) to buy T3 over the counter? Now that the Greece over the counter route appears to have stopped, I'm considering looking into Turkey. I would much rather buy in person than relying on something being legit when ordering online/buying through

To split or not to split?
I have decided to start self medicating again and used the company I first used to buy some thyroxine. They have changed brands and now only supply Eltroxin in 100 mcg tablets. Tbh I didn't even think about that so ordered some thinking I could just split them as I felt 50 was a better starting point

Headache solved?
As my symptoms started returning, I upped my levo every 3rd day from 50mcg to 75mcg. Headaches started and only went if I upped my T3 from 5mcg to 7.5 mcg (Levo 7am, T3 8am) I take 2 further 5mcg T3 in the day. I sometimes take my second T3 dose as a 7.5mcg dose if I'm really slowing down, grinding to

LIOTHYRONINE
I had been on Liothyronine for a couple of years and not noticed any difference to energy etc and my sleep was dreadful. Consultant halved my dose and when I complained at last appointment about severe pain in joints and I can hear the joints rubbing together he said I should have a bone density scan

Anyone read much about Thyroid and Alzheimer's connection?
Found a few papers which suggest they are linked and I wondered what the treatment is for Alzheimer's? Brother just been diagnosed but I know his fT3 is low and he doesn't convert T4 well

GP removed my T3 what now?
Hi I know others have mentioned this previously but I have just gone to order a repeat prescription to find that my T3 is missing from the list. I'm currently taking 75mcg Thyroxine too & noticed they have removed the 50's leaving me with 25mcg only which is ok I guess but expect its a cheaper brand

Misdiagnosis? Fibromyalgia or PA?
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 19 years ago, but I wonder whether it was a misdiagnosis. I am still waiting for a PA diagnosis, but have been experiencing many of the symptoms of PA for months. Many of the tests I have done have shown low B12, low folate, low ferritin, all within range but low

Run out of t3
Could someone please message me with somewhere I can purchase tiromel quite quickly? I usually stock up when I go to Turkey, but have been unable to go. Stupidly, I didn't realise how low I had got. My gp is aware I outsource my supply.

BRCA genetic testing providers
I have signed up to take part in the NHS Jewish-BRCA screening programme https://nhsjewishbrcaprogramme.org.uk/ but I will not get the test or the results before the first round of my IVF starts next month. I only have 1 Jewish grandparent so my risks are low but not as low as non-Jewish person. My grandparent

I am lost, should I seek a second opinion?
hi, this will be a bit of a long one sorry. I am really confused and don’t know whether to accept my gps answer or go private for a second opinion. My issues started more noticeably in October last year when I started heavily bleeding and having long periods and very short periods of time of not bleeding

Ideal ranges info
Hello everyone,Does anyone have a post on calculating target ranges for each of the vitamins we care about (vit d, ferritin etc). I have scrolled through pinned posts and searched but couldn't find the info in one place. Happy Friday to all.

Advice for blood test results
Hi all, I would really appreciate some help with my latest blood test results. I have gradually reduced my meds over time, from 150/125 mcg Levothyroxine and 20 mcg liothyronine, to 75 mcg Levothyroxine and 10 mcg liothyronine. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s back in 2013, but my TPO has been within

Haematologist’s unsupportive B12 response
In a recent pathology test, my gastroenterologist was concerned with my low haemoglobin count and a high reticulocyte count. She mentioned that although I’m low in ferritin (40) I’m not yet needing an iron infusion just yet. My white cell count was seemingly low also and she suggested that I should get
