The nausea in particular

Magnesium salts and RLS: malate, glycinate or citrate
Just following up on a recent post recommending magnesium malate for RLS, quoting recommendations made by Californian company Pure Biogenics in promoting their RLS supplement Seratame. Looking into this, experiments on rats suggested that malate may be the most bio-available form of magnesium; there

heart palpitations anxiety
hey guys. Me again, sorry to bother and ramble on, the past 3 days I’ve been having a few heart palpitations a day. Now I did phone my doctors and they told me this didn’t sound serious and it was normal. They said if the palpitations were regular every few minutes it would be a concern. I get 2 or 3

RA reaction to medication would like general advice on how to manage RA
Hello, I’ve had a reaction to medication I was on for an over active thyroid, which has given me RA symtoms, came on very suddenly so hoping it will eventually clear (have read can take 3/4 weeks). Have been referred to a rheumatoid specialist but apparently it might take months for an appointment. I

Not sure if it’s a bad cold or flu I have . I know NSAIDs are a very bad idea ( my first episode was triggered by Celebrex). Has anyone been triggered by Paracetamol ? Are there any safe pain killers ? Thanks

Ibuprofen
Ive just realised my tinnitus gets worse after I've taken ibuprofen. Just googled this and seen that it can happen. Has anyone else noticed this and if so have you found a relatively strong painkiller that doesn't affect it

Which is the worst - Prednisolone or Methatrexate?
I’ve mentioned my position in reply to other’s posts, but briefly, Jan 2023 - having been convinced the MTX wasn’t making any difference, I asked to stop it but my Rheumy said no, but you can half your dose to 10mg (once a week). I was also on 1.5mg Pred with Rhuemy pushing me to reduce by .5 for

Back pain/clicking and how to stay positive
Hi everyone Looking for tips on pain management/positivity and also to see if anyone experiences the same types of pain/clicking in joints. I've been suffering with back pain (as well as pelvis, abdomen, hips, neck etc) for around 2 years now, alongside a huge number of other symptoms as I'm sure

Re - chemo cocktail, Caelyx and Yondelis.
Good morning , After 5 lines of chemo my doctor has come up with this new regime - 6 x 3 weekly sessions if it proves to be working and if I can cope. I finished the 5th line just over 3 months ago. I’ve had Caelyx before but I’ve never heard of Yondelis. Has any one on this forum had any experience

Visceral hypersensitivity
You know those films where someone is strapped to a chair and the torturer is holding a syringe and says: 'I'm just going to give you something to enhance the pain; you'll feel everything much more'. No wait! I already have IBS, thanks all the same. I feel everything in my guts, multiplied. Solids

Never ending problems
I am going to moan - big time - because I am getting to the point where I don't know which way to turn. I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis, Arthritis, Pernicious Anaemia, Hypertension, Coeliac disease and now some unexplained kidney problem. I have had an MRI which has shown a problem but I don't know what
