Circumscision Super painful

hello I am 18 and had Circumscision 2 days ago it is so painful I’m on strong painkillers but I can’t have anything touch it and I’m still yet to have a shower as it’s unbearable. There’s lots of dry blood and I’m supposed to apply an antibiotic ointment but I just can’t bring myself to apply as it’s very painful. Does anyone have any advise.

like the pain is so bad that I nearly faint every time I have a wee or look at my penis 🤣😩

any help or advice would be very appreciated (also my surgeon and nurse said I’m not allowed to bathe at all)

Hi buddy - I’m 51 and had mine done 10 days ago. Yes - it hurts a lot for a short while.

I slept much of the first few days and just did nothing whilst dosed up on cocodamol. Looking at it was a bit frightening too as so bruised and swollen - like it’s not your cock. Don’t worry buddy - it will settle down quite quickly.

Mine mostly stoped bleeding after about two days when I “very very carefully” eased of the dressing! I spent much of the time since with no underwear so nothing has to be in contact with the wound. But if I do, I use small gauze square liberally covered in Vaseline between the wound and my underwear. And the advice is point your cock upwards towards your belly button when you dress to reduce the swelling.

I was told not to shower for two days. I was worried about the first shower but it was OK and such a relief. Just stand with your back to the shower head and don’t use any scented shower gel soap too close to your cock. And air dry!! Don’t run it with a towel!

The other great advice I was given was once or twice a soak your cock for 5-10 minutes in a cup of salt water. Boil a kettle - fill the cup with boiling water and add salt… let it cool for 45 mins and dip him in!! This will help clean the wound a bit and will help.

The next couple of days will get better buddy. The only thing you really need to be prepared for is the night time erections. For me this was 4 really awful nights from night 4-8. Sometimes up every hour in pain as erections stretch the stitches!! Take painkillers before bed, don’t drink anything for a couple of hours before bed and try to have an empty bladder. But the best advice of all - have a bag of frozen peas handy - they will become your new best friend to quickly reduce unwanted boners and relieve the pain!

Sorry if I make that stage sound bad - but it is. But it for me only lasted a few nights. I’m still getting the night time erections, but they only hurt mildly now… have had three good nights sleep!

I can only tell you up to day 11 buddy!! But trust me it gets better!!

Every day will get easier Bro. And you can wash all of yourself just not your dick though after 3 days I'd recommend dipping it in warm salt water 3 times a day. Good luck

I'm on day 96 with my circumcision. Yeas, I remember my nights was like a horror too. I slept overall 4-5 hour at night for 6 weeks before I got painless good sleep. I almost lost my hope back then. Sometimes urinating was so painful because the stitches and erection squeezed the urethra, causing the pressure during urination to damage the blood vessels, I was so scared seeing pure blood coming out of my penis. But when I finally healed more, I saw light in end of the tunnel, I have tried masturbating and sex with my partner several of time and I have to say it feels much better than before my circumcision. And when it get used to underwears, it doesn't makes any difference on previous one. Hopefully you understood, cauz English isn't my native language,
