Anybody left with servere virtigo after covid ?
I caught covid after visiting the hospital for an MRI to look at my gastric issues. The virus hit my balance to the extent I wasn't able to walk unaided which I have to say was very disturbing to say the least. Since the virus has cleared I have suffered a few events of vertigo ! I am not the steadiest

Sharp pains in head - lupus related or something else?
Hi all, I have general nerve pain in my head ever since I had concussion and whiplash seven years ago - so I'll get fibromyalgia shoulders and pains travelling up my scalp, particularly the right side. It's not that troublesome. But since I had my Covid jab three weeks ago I've had a few episodes

I put more drops in them every

Bloody Covid can sod off!
Hi All, Had heart attack/ stent fitted 10 weeks ago & still struggling with side effects of medication. Dropped down to 1 Bisoprolol instead of 2 & this temporarily stopped the dizzy spells & light headedness. But within a couple of weeks they were back again & I just feel like crap most of the time

Help! Stomach Bug & Holiday!
For over a week I have had some sort of stomach bug with awful pains in the lower stomach, causing loose stools, feeling chilled then hot, with a recurring headache. I contacted my doctor asking for urgent stool tests, as I am due to go on holiday to Spain next Monday, just in case it is a stomach bug

Baby Athletes Foot
My baby is 5 months old and I think he may have athletes foot if that’s at all possible! I think it’s probably from where he has had sweaty feet and then worn baby gros overnight with covered feet, we keep his feet bare during the day when at home to let them air out and dry. Is there anything over the

Rituximab
does anyone have any advice about the effect of the COVID vaccine on Rituximab. I had my first infusion in July which has been successful for me and given me a pain free life. So don’t want to ‘mess it up by risking Covid vaccine if it has a negative effect. thanks

Ablate or wait?
About 1 year ago I suffered with recurrent AF episodes usually overnight and they lasted from 1 hour to 5 hours. On two occasions I went to A&E and was kept in A&E overnight. I got a consultant appointment and he prescribed Flecainide 100mg twice per day and a spot on the NHS ablation waiting list.

Finally got flu vax!
After 4+ months of waiting told 'on the list' many times, nurse from gp surgery came. Says don't know what district nurses are doing lately. 🤷♀️ Also gave me pneumonia vax- never had or been offered before🤔 No Covid as run out. Can I sue if I contract Covid or is it all forgotten about now? Yet I

Pneumonia
Hi. I had my follow up chest x-ray for pneumonia 3 weeks ago and the good news is that it's come back clear. I'm really pleased but I'm still coughing at night and feel a bit breathless in the mornings. I told the doctor when he rang me with the results and he said, the infection has gone but lungs take

Newly diagnosed
Hi All, I've just joined this group looking to educate myself following a recent 2nd positive lupus test. I am waiting for a pheumatology appointment but no idea when that is going to happen so a bit concerned I am losing time on getting a plan in place. 30 years ago I tested positive for Anti Phospholipid

Covid vaccine during tapering down PMR?
Thanks so much for the valuable responses, which I am studying ongoing,to my previous posts. I was dubious about the Covid vaccine possibly bringing back my PMR symptoms. Having read the posts here I am largely reassured, but I would like to check for my own circumstances. I have never had a problem
